I live in North Jersey and have been vaping for 4 years. When I first learned about the existance of ecigs I was at a flea market in Florida. In the NE of the country buying supplies from a B&M store is an impossibility unless you are in a liquor or convenience store. :(

My question...is eBay one of the better online places to go? That is where I usually find myself. Is there a way for me to find other online suppliers that are reputable with fair prices?

I buy from trusted sellers on ebay. Do your research and you should be OK. Sellers on Ebay seem to offer the best bang for the buck when it comes to RDA and RTA clones.

There are a lot of good vendors out there including Discount Vapers, 101vape, Eciggity, Mount Baker, Elev8vape, and many others.

The key is to hang around here and get an idea of what you want and then shop around. Look at sales and coupon codes to find the best price.

I buy some stuff of ebay some rda/rtas and mech clones also all my wire. Got some good and some bad, but its nothing thats broke the bank.

Ive noticed that alot of the regulated boxes they sell are more expenaive on eBay then say MVS. When buying a regulated box i like to stick to either MVS or VapeNW both have super fast shipping and return policys of defective devices.

I agree with Lessifer; check out the registered suppliers list and visit their websites. Not to say that there aren't other options for quality goods and service that aren't registered, but it's a start.

In my experience, eBay is a crap-shoot and I'd rather spend a little bit more at a reputable vendor's site than end up with something that kind of works okay for a few dollars less.

It's hard to make specific recommendations without knowing specifically what you're looking for.

One word of caution: batteries.

Don't even think about cheaping out on batteries and never buy them from eBay. Always buy authentic, name-brand batteries from reputable stores. Even then, it doesn't hurt to call or email the store to ask if they're authentic and not re-wrapped knock-offs.

Lots of great information on ECF but if nothing else, please check out Baditude's Battery Basics for a better understanding of what's what, and why.

Check out Good Guy Vapes! They have 3 locations now, and they're very nice dudes. Very reputable (although you can't vape inside their Clifton location, due to some crazy wackadoo laws).

I've also gone to Preferred Vapors which is more in the Ewing/near Philly area.

All my LGs and 1 pair of Samsungs havE been legit from reputable ebay vendora. This is mostly only a problem with Sonys at the moment because thats what people want. Plenty of legit batt vendors have eBay pages, ebay helps them get more product out to people who arent going to goto.a flashlight website that theyve never heard of. I will advise against buying Sonys and other batts from no name ebay vendors though. But to assume there isnt any reliable.vendors on ebay is just a dumb myth.

Without the necessary expertise to competently use reliable, high quality testing equipment there really isn't a way for a consumer to know if the batteries they receive are legit as well as meeting specs. Not only is there an issue of fake batteries being littered all over eBay and elsewhere, there is also the issue of purchasing correctly branded batteries that are not up to specs. The best shot a consumer has to receive a legit battery that meets specs is to use a vendor that has the technical expertise and length of experience in the business to weed out the plethora of bad actors in the battery industry.

Illumination Supply and Orbtronic are long-established, reliable battery vendors.

I agree. I have been doing my eBay research and their prices are so very much lower than what I find elsewhere.

That's because they buy from
Fasttech
Focalecig
Angelcig
Health cabin
And jack the prices up.

If your going to eBay and most are just drop shipping anyways(as all the stores I listed offer it ) might as well just go china direct if you can wait a few days on shipping and save a bundle

Takes about 2 weeks almost 3 to arrive but they are cheeeeeep

Waiting on a FT and Angel order now
