GF......just find a D and B Supply....they'll hook you up. I like the 3cc Syringes and the 1.5" beveled 18 gauge needles, they seem to work best. However, I can tell you from experience that the .39 needless syringes are garbage. Splurge and buy the .89 ones that come with 1" 20 gauge needle, and buy the 18 1.5 Beveled Needles separately. Then just unscrew the 20 gauges, replace them with 18 gauge needles and put the 20's in the 18 gauge cases to safely dispose of them.

Now to make the above even more confusing let's talk about different shotgun gauges.......:p

I tried my walgreens and must have gotten the apprentice pharmacist.... he said they didnt have needles. I could not convince him otherwise, because my wife had to get B12 injections, and they gave her a couple, but they were pretty small gauge (biggest they had, but too small for B12). At the time, she was working at an animal shelter and vet-tech's pulled out the right syringe and gave her the injection.

That said, I ordered 26110 - Exel 3cc Syringe with Needle 3cc, 18g x 1.5", LL, 100/box in 3cc at Med-Vet International along with some forceps (tons of uses for those). Shipping was $10, but if time is money, I can waste $10 easy traveling all over town to find a source that won't also give lots of grief. They should be here this week, and since I do not need 100 of them, they'll probably go up on swap, pif, or classifieds (or donate to the animal rescue). But, I need to get a handful of padded envelopes first and figure out the cheapest postage before I can offer them.

If you can drip for a couple weeks, I bet I can send you a few for as many bucks.

2 things to consider: Get a car with better gas mileage and keep in mind that shipping syringes in Texas is fine. However every state has different laws when it comes to possesion of needled syringes, transportation of needled syringes, even of how to dispose of needled syringes.

This is an area where a little knowledge goes a long way. Get caught shipping to the wrong state and you could be looking at transporting paraphernalia across state lines.....a federal offense.

Thanks! Great points, and one I know I'll need to deal with... at first blush, I'm going to guess CA, NY, and NJ are no-no's (the states I see listed in knife and gun catalogs where certain items are prohibited). But yeah, I'll need to do some research.

I was also thinking when I offered them here to put some kind of verbiage like: "by accepting this offer, you attest that these are for lawful use only."

And fyi, its not the fuel cost that eats up $10, but what I could be doing with my time instead of driving around 2 or 3 hours on a wild goose chase. I saved well over $10 with the recent discounts on V4L.com to cover it. :2cool:

ETA: interesting info on syringe laws at http://www.temple.edu/lawschool/phrhcs/map.htm
