A word on Volt/ohm meters.
Just because some are digital doesn't mean they work well for low ohm testing. Look at the ranges, even auto range meters have limits. A couple of the cheap ones here at work are deplorable in performance when I use them to test my 1 ohm coil. So I use their Fluke instead when I can. My favorite from the past is an old style one from the 70’s Bird [before they went crazy with prices]. It got lost in one of my many tours in a Country / Western group.

Some of these Radio shack cheapies sport the lowest range possible being x10 scale making it impossible to determine the difference between 1.2 and 1.9 ohms. Radio Shack does have good ones , but at a cost of course.
Do your homework before buying. I wonder if we can post our digital or analog volt/ohm meter brand names here to assist? Me? I borrow the workplaces Fluke if I need a good one. Otherwise an old Heath kit at home from years gone by, but it has a nice 1 to 10 Ohm setting, easy on my eyes.

At every place I looked and look I still find only one thing! "Sorry Sold Out!" or "Put on your wish list" "Notify me when available" It's almost like only one company is making them for everyone and they backed ordered into oblivion. As soon as some get some in the few that arrived are taken by the existing waiting list before you can blink an eye!

Sound like a good home based business opportunity here. If these Yahoo's don't belly up quick someone might give it a go.

I used Fluke meters here for testing work and still have one I used on the job back in the 90s! You can't beat their's overall for quality. The main reason I would grab a meter is for those brands of cartimizers/clearomizers that don't show what resistance value or range in the product information there and with some you can't find that out elsewhere either.

If you could equip a multimieter with a 510 socket/connector on it you wouldn't need to buy the one purpose meter at all. But you also have to look at how fast the ecig business in general is growing as rapidly as the CB radio craze back in the 70s! The FDA however is now facing the decision of whether or not to start imposing any type of regulation as that issue came up.

MadVapes has a limited Stock of these again. Finally got mine seconds ago

Cartomizer and Atomizer Ohm Meter

Limted for sure! Out of Stock Total Sold: 2364 to only those on waiting lists I can imagine.

Ordered one. Immediately got an email saying thanks, it's on back order we'll ship it when we get more in. Pretty irritated they couldn't put a stock status on the page.

Damn that sucks. Normally when RTD doesn't have an item in stock the add to cart button won't be available & there will be a notify option. I'm sure you can cancel the order without a hiccup though, they're one of the better vendors to deal with.

Frustrated by "out of stock", came up with this as my answer:

DMM (Digital Multi-Meters) are a nice tool to have but, a better tool for measuring low resistance is an LCR Meter (Inductance, Capacitance, Resistance Meter). A cheap LCR will be more accurate at measuring low resistance then a moderately priced DMM. On a side note if you google "Low Voltage Ohmeter" You will find other options including schematics for $5 in parts from Radio Shack.
