Where to get a cheap but accurate voltmeter (multimeter) in stores?

IDK if your looking for a 510 volt meter/ohm checker only, but I'd tell you to get a small multimeter instead of the "e-cig" stuff out there. In most cases, even the cheep $9.99 Harbor Freight meters are more accurate than the $15-25 checkers I've seen in stores. Bonus to the true multimeter, you can use it for more than just e-cigs(auto and home electrical). Check your area, here in Chicago I just had a coupon in the sales add for a free one.... literally walked in yesterday with the paper and walk out with the meter.

Some advice I received a long time ago about tool purchases: always buy the best you can as cheap tools are more frustrating than no tools. With that said, I might point out that a lot of "cheaper" multimeters also use such esoteric batteries that you might just be better off with a basic ohm checker!

Are there multimeters that read ohms into the tens place?
