Hi again all,
I have asked this question before but let me see if there is any new info out there. I have a Joye Ego and I usually just drip. I am looking to order more liquid AND a spare atty or two from the SAME place. I am looking for flavorless (or tabbacco) but I want to be able to choose the mg (3mg or 6mg), the ratio of PG to VG (either 60/40 or 50/50) I like good throat hit!! Any suggestions on where I might be able to do this??? I really liked Velvet Vapors choices on liquids, but they dont sell supplies! mad vapes looks good, but they only have flavorless in VG. Any info would help
Thanks
Erin

If you are going to buy liquid and supplies from the same place then buy them at a juice vendor because most mainly-hardware vendors only sell the Chinese 100% PG and sometimes 100%VG juices. That's why I buy supplies one place (usually LiteCigUSA.net for their under $3 shipping) and juices at juice vendors.

FreedomSmokeUSA does have some parts. As does Madvapes.

Lower ohms means lower resistance (you'll often see talk of LR atties -- this is what that refers to). Lower resistance on the same voltage means a higher amperage draw, which means hotter, thicker vapor. It also means your battery will not last as long, and depending on the battery and the atty you could risk damage. You can get the same result by adding more voltage, but that means a different battery or a variable voltage (VV) mod. It's much cheaper and easier to get a lower-resistance atty than a higher voltage battery.

Many have said not to go lower than 2.0 ohms on an eGo-type battery. I'd say that's a pretty safe rule of thumb, though if you do the math anything down to about 1.5 ohms should be safe. Going with lower resistance on a non-eGo 501 battery is also possible, but will reduce battery life to almost nothing.

I've been looking at a lot of different juice companies, and I started browsing one last night called gourmetvapor.com, I haven't ordered from them yet, but I think I will try them in the future, I found them from some thread on this site about e-coupons, and they had one for 10% off in that thread. Their selection pretty much makes everyone else look like they don't carry anything. I think they even had a sale on 500ml 36mg straight nicotine for $29.99. If you want to mix your own, and they will do ANY mix of pg/vg you want.
As I've said I have not ordered from them, I've only been vaping for 10 days, and so far have spent all of my dollars at esmokeronline.com. I found them from here too. I've purchased, but not received some low resistance attys from them, and I also have a t-Rex on it's way, I should be getting all that on Monday, and some low resistance cartomizers too. From what I've figured out, the low ohm (low resistance) attys/cartomizers can, in the right setting, cause you to get more vapor from your pv. I'm all about getting some more vapor, then I won't have to sit here hitting that thing like 5 times in a row, causing it to heat up so much that I can't touch the atomizer without burning myself, that's why I ordered the t-Rex, and the 2.8 attys/cartomizers, and I also bought some blue foam, and have taken an older atty that someone gave me and cleaned it with denture cleaner to see if a clean atty makes much difference (it really does). Sorry to be so long winded. I have fallen in love with vaping. I went from smoking OVER 3 packs a day, to none, overnight. This is the most amazing thing that hasnhappened to me in my adult life. I littarally thought I had at the most 10 years left on this earth before I died, from my own smoking. I've been trying to quit for 10+years, and I couldn't do it, no matter what I did. I am under 40, and I couldn't breathe. I want to shout from the roof tops about vaping, and I will after I'm free from smokes for 6 months plus. Until then, y'all have to put up with me :).

5 volt PV?
Tell me more about this!

Is this high voltage for a PV?
Do they vapor the e-juice better or?

Please!

Yes, 5 volt or variable volt PV's are considered high volt. To get the "inhaled feel" of an analog, HV vaping is the best alternative. Throat hit and nicotine strength are the two main factors providing great throat hit.

There are a number of fine 5 volt PV's. One of the best is the GLV2 (5 volt version) from: Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor . IMO, the best variable volt PV on the market is the new "Darwin" from: Nhaler .

You might also want to look at this site that summerizes many better bettery PV's, including the smaller 3.7 volt ones. But as you look over the site, it tells you which ones are 5 volt, variable volt, etc: Best e-Cig Mod List | e-Cig Mods Database .

PM me if you have more questions.

Totally feel you, 2 packs a day for around 28 years, bought one of those cheap mall kits in green box that lasted a day, but I have OCD so of course I did some research and bought myself a ego kit and have been vaping away for 2days now. I haven't had a analog cig for 2.5 days and I don't want one. Totally life changing event for someone like me who never could have dreamed of giving up tobacco. I too want to yell it from the mountain tops. I gave my gf a try and we will be ordering her purple passion colored T-Rex on Friday with a whole boat load of funky flavors to try out. Rather than try and ban this the government should bloody sponsor it I say. Call me a newb, call me whatever cause I don't care my life just changed and I might just get to watch my daughter grow up now. Boyai!
