Hello,
Still fairly new to this, however I seem to need to do some work with my Ego-T atty (type A). I've managed to clean it out by soaking, which helped, then I progressed to whipping out the needle plate and doing a dry burn to get a proper clean. I got it out, did the dry burn etc, but hit a brick wall when trying to get the original (rinsed) wick back it. The little metal bit at the top just didn't want to go in properly and I only got the wick in a short distance. I tried smoking it like that but got a burnt taste, presumably as the wick wasn't in well enough and therefore not enough flow of juice.
I've been reading on ECF about using silica and the PTB method for re-wicking and I want to try this. Where can I get good wick material IN THE UK? (please).
Any other tips and avice with regard to my wick problems are also much appreciated. I've already watched a couple of video's.
Thanks,
Marcus
