Hello everyone...My name is Frank and I have been vaping about 5 weeks. I have been doing a tremendous amount of research on e-cig liquids (mostly tobacco) to get a decent idea where I should spend my money. I understand that taste is subjective, but I must say the tobacco juices that people here and elsewhere are touting as great, in my humble opinion flat out suck!!!!!!!!

One after another, I hear a great review...I go out and spend my money and find myself not being able to vape it for more than 5 minutes. I have been smoking for 43 years and I think by now, I should know what a decent tobacco taste like. The good part is that I have not had a analog in 5 weeks, but I am definitely not having a good vaping experience.

I really do not know what to do...I cannot keep spending 20 dollars every time I want to try a juice...I really think that if a reviewer states that a juice is awesome, I should at the very least think that it is decent...There is something wrong with someone's taste buds.

If anyone could help me find a few decent tobacco juices that have a bit of sweetness in them, I would greatly appreciate it.

Also, If anyone is interested in trading some juice, I have a great deal for you!

I have this list of juices that I think flat out suck!!!!!!!

Tennessee cured Johnson Creek approx 30ml
555 pink spot approx 20 mil
torque 56 halo approx 20 ml
babo's bounty Alien Vision approx 12 mil
Ry4 I think House of vapor(not sure) approx 30 ml

As you can see from this list...you know people rave about these juices...THEY SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can have all this for about 30 ml of Dulsis...which I actually think is great, but I am out of it because I wanted to try other juices....Boy, was I wrong.
 Thanks

taste in juices is highly subjective and I have traded away a number of juices that are other people's favorites. One of the best new lines of tobacco juices I've come across is at Goodejuice. I love their House Blend, and their House Brewed line has some very good flavors, although I am not crazy about the 50/50 PG/VG mix only.

Vaporstation Frisco is my favorite. It has a hint of hazelnut. Unfortunately they're out of stock right now due to customs issues I believe. Their juice has a unique taste and is made in India. Their other tobaccos are pretty good, too, but I like Frisco the best:

hi i know how you feel about the tobacco flavored juice i was having a tough go at it too i now have at least 10 or so if not more bottles of it sitting here i found that of all the tobacco flavors i like revolvercig.com ry4 the best sweet but not to sweet with a tobacco taste to it i have try many ry4s(every vendor has a different taste or sweetness) and this is by far the best at least to my taste. also i have found that non tobacco flavors are amazing and i actually enjoy them more than the tobacco flavored ejuice go figure lol my favorite right now is juicy vapor's french toast absolutely amazing tastes like the real thing :)
also is the dulcis you like the vapor talk juice? if so i think the revolver ry4 is very similar to it, maybe slightly sweeter

good luck and i'm sure you will find something you like really soon

just wanted to add that i also use a kgo

Thanks people...it's great to get some feedback...I'm hoping that the vendors whose juices I chopped up come into this so I can tell them their juice sucks!!!!!!!!!!! Also I like to say that all I hear everywhere is that word SUBJECTIVE. I understand how that is true for the most part, but there comes a point where you can toss subjectivity out the window. That said, I would like to give you an example: If I state that I think the actress Charlize Teron is beautiful...you might think that you have seen better, but if you say she is ugly then I AM SORRY...that IS IMPOSSIBLE! So subjectivity does have a limit. And so it is with some of these juices. I would hope to see at some point where reviewers star stateing the obvious, When something sucks, say it and do not let the vendor contact you and give excuses...WHEN IT SUCKS, IT SUCKS PERIOD!!

A couple juices you mentioned I don't care for particularly either. Not because they're bad juices, but most vendors have a unique base. If you like their base, you're golden. If you don't, you won't like their juice.

I don't vape tobacco anymore but my sister vapes Vapor Station Tampa. Like Redgirl mentioned they have a unique base as well. My mom likes backwoods brew tobacco juices. I think she started with Virginia, then 555 and RY4. Now she vapes Casablanca.

Hi, I've had some good and bad juice experiences in my 6 weeks of vaping as well. It is unfortunately pretty much a hit and miss thing. As you pointed out, taste is indeed very subjective. I bought about 20 5ml bottle of different tobacco flavor from Liberty Flights after reading through a lot of the site reviews. I eliminated anything that was spoken of as too sweet or that indicated aftertastes or flavors that I know right away that are not for me. As of now I have tried about 6 of them with mostly positive results. I came across the first one that I just put down and said 'Yuck!' yesterday (Chester blend). So, I lost £2.99 on that one (I live in Europe and purchase from the UK site but they are in the US as well). Of the others Ark, Hotel and Winston were really good an I plan to purchase them again in larger bottles (the Winston flavor was really good and tobacco like). I also tried out Highway and Virginia, they were ok and not a total waste but, not my cup of tea so to speak. For the RY4, I have noticed personally, and read numerous times and heard in video reviews as well, that it tastes good one day and horrible the next, then back to good again. I have found this to be true so might wanna hold on to that bottle as a back up when stalking the mailman for new deliveries.
On a final note, although I am almost as new to vaping as yourself and I, too, prefer the tobacco flavors, I have also bought some others like Pomegranate, Vanilla, etc.. which, take some getting used to and seem to change up a bit as well when vaping the, (too strong, disagreeable at first, then settle down and become truly good by the end of a 5ml dual-coil cartormizer. Just my 2 cents. Good luck finding the right juice!

Yes I like RY4 and DK Tab but have found huge differences when ordering from different vendors. I also really like black perique. You may have to consider ordering different flavors and mixing some together- maybe adding a pipe Tobac juice with something you kind of like. I have accepted that I will never find the perfect Tobac. Have you though of just ordering sample packs? One of my favorites is Absolute Pure- very powerful flavoring and very hard to find. One pin ..... drop is all that's needed and a 3 ml will probably last a full year. When smoking analogs I absolutely despised menthol but noe really enjoy a touch of it in my Tobac juice. Vets had posted about nooks liking the menthol.
Good Luck in your search.

That's true. I accidently mixed some Virginia with peach and it was surprisingly delicious. I mix a little Vapor Bomb Artic Ice in almost all my juices. Gives them a little kick when they taste flat.

Hello. I am at month five on my vaping journey and just wanted to add my two cents - although I detest all the tobacco flavors. Your taste buds are going to go through some major changes, what you love the first month you will hate by the third. The opposite is not necessarily true though. I have tried probably fifty juices in five months. My go to juice for the first three was Doublemint from myPVshop. Now it tastes like soap to me and I can't stand it. Now my all day vape is Peppermint from Velvet Vapors. When I get overload on that, I hit Alien Visions SweetTart and occasionally Madvapes Black Licorice. I am still trying other flavors occassionally (have to agree with you on the much touted Boba bounty, as well as Gorilla juice - ugh!) looking to expand my horizons. Good luck!

I have also tried and disposed of MANY tobacco favors, most of them highly touted.
The only two that I've kept and continue to use are Dekang DK-TAB and Backwoods Brew Casablanca.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned much in this thread though...
Sometimes tobacco flavors need to steep awhile to develop.

When I first got the Casablanca, I thought it was meh.
After letting it sit for a month, the flavor had changed quite dramatically, and very much for the better.

So you might want to try some of those again after a few weeks before getting rid of them.
:)

If you're only 5 weeks into vaping, have your tastebuds restored? I'd shelf those flavors for awhile and come back to them in a month. Tastebuds take some time to cme back to life.

I like bluemistvaping.com's Dekang-type Tobacco alot. It has a nutty, woody undertone, but hit the spot for me when I first started, and I still use it. I'd advise ordering extra flavor, too. Also, Rob has a new flavor that tastes like a frsh lit cigarette smells IMO. It's called Rob's Blackjack. Kinda dry, but not unpleasant. Maybe give it a try, too.

Please understand that tobacco flavors are flavored to mimic tobacco, itself. I don't know of any liquids that mimic a burned cigarette. If that's what you're after, you're S.O.L. lol!

Good luck, and I hope you find your flavor!
