What a great way to avoid doing laundry on a Saturday! Loved reading all of this (yes, all of it) today.

When I found/joined ECF my life was pretty crazed and I was really desperate to quit smoking.

My father had been diagnosed with lung cancer and was going through chemotherapy. I'd just tried to quit smoking with Welbutrin, and it made me crazed. After 45 days, I decided sanity = cigarette and started again (how bad is that to visit my dad and then go outside and smoke when I knew that was what caused his problems? Sighh). My younger sister had a tumor diagnosis in her head. Other family drama... on top of that.

My life felt like it had gone to Hell-in-a-Handbasket... and I was being carried off in the basket the day I decided to sign up to the forum. I didn't expect to stay on after I learned about e-cigs.

Things are better today (Dad has responded well to the chemo with unexpected tumor shrinkage so they gave him permission to start radiation. Another scan is scheduled in 2 weeks and we have great hope. Sister's tumor turned out to be benign and her surgery went without problems).

I'm glad my basket landed here. It was an answer to one of my prayers since as of today I'm 73 days tobacco free!

Raven is my real first name. My mother was a HUGE Edge of Night fan. And Raven Alexander was her favorite character. So I got the name Raven Alexzandria.

Blackblade is the name of my first sword.

I have had this nickname sine 1995. If you even Google Raven Blackblade on the last entry of the first page, if you click it, you will find a picture of me with Megadeth

Mine is because my name is Rita. My middle name is Lee. Pronounce it "correctly" like my kin folk in Mississippi and it comes all together RitaLee. I am half redneck and half ....-..... LOL

Then, I was born in 1976.

I love music, I love nicotine, and to be honest I'm not a huge fan of either the 808 or the 901, but sometimes nothing works better than falling back on the old classic. The numerology seemed appropriate. Even if my name is too long, and not very creative.

Lala is what small kids call me sometimes instead of Laura, my sister's kids each went thru that stage and it has fond memories for me. Also makes me think of singing to oneself around the house
