I was thinking of the rusty Pelican, under the stars and by the shore, thet have their own cooks......... and a hotel near by
Love that restaurant lis.... Spent some time in N. Palm Beach and would go there nearly every day (vacation). In Lake Worth, iirc... south of PB. And there were Pelicans there too

When I was in my 20s a bunch of us rented an apartment near a breakfast place. We had these all night weekend parties and my friend John would inevitably end up playing Johnny Cash records by the end of the night.
The poor owners of the breakfast place came over one day and said it's bad enough the parties keep us up all night (we never thought we were that loud) but then we 're serving breakfast to the music of Johnny Cash

I would have thought they would have liked the free music but alas they didn't.
Course they really weren't too upset since most of their early weekend business came from friends partying in our apartment.

During my partying years we use to end the night which was about two - four in the morning at a restaurant called Brantville.

This apartment was on the 2nd floor with a really high outside staircase. A big tree branch extended over the staircase about halfway. Every once in a while someone would go rushing down the staircase hit the branch and get flung to the ground.
No one ever got hurt but I was having lunch with my boss and a party friend came over and told his story of hitting the branch and getting flung to the ground.
My boss was the Building Inspector and he actually put a condemned sticker on the branch and made the owner cut it down.

I only lived in one apartment that had a zillion stairs to the top. Of course we lived in the top apartment.
The only thing to be said about it was it was great exercise!!!

Hi everbody! Busy catching up on 2 weeks of tv before the NEW shows come on. But I am lurking for now........I will be cooking later and of course eating so will be in and out......mostly out though.
