a friend got me started...set me up with a peach flavor, totally superb. Since I have ordered samples from 8 different vendors, nothing has come close. I am getting flavor, but it is very faint, nothing like that first day. Can I "soup up" the flavors or am I ordering from the wrong vendors? Are vendors skimping on the flavors? Is there a reason? I would assume cost, but then I have no clue. Pinkspot's butterscotch was quite good, I think the original peach might have come from Heather's.

Hi and welcome to ECF:) I would ask your friend to tell you what brand of Peach they gave you. Also the PG/VG ratio and strength of nicotine. PG gives huge flavor and VG mutes it so if you ordered a big amount of VG the flavor would seem fainter. Also all vendors juice is like their own personal thing even though peach is peach it is not the same from vendor to vendor. Some vendors make cheap juice that is great and some expensive vendors make expensive juice that tastes cheap. You will have to experiment to find the right juice.

Unless they are "off the shelf" flavors ( or samples), many juices take at least a week to develop their flavors if mixed fresh to your order... Let them sit unopened in a dark area for about 24 hours, cap them, & then let them sit for a week or so - you should notice a definite difference.

You can sometimes accelerate the process by giving them a "bath" in an ultrasonic cleaner (caps off, about two-three 30 min sessions).....but time is still the best to bring out the flavors - especially chocolate & tobacco flavors.

Never tried diy flavors yet, i have well over 30+ bottles of ejuice! Thx to Vape dudes having 40% off! And using multiple friends addressess to get 40 off every order lol
And flavors are faint i believe bc of a few things, skimping on flavor, cheap juice and vapor tongue among a few, i like to steep my juice for a week or two, then i notice the best flavor! And setup is a biggie too:)

most decent vendors wont skimp, they want people coming back. some flavors just arent very strong, it seems they can triple the flavor and it just doesnt do anything.

with any of the better mixers out there steeping really is your best friend, when i used to buy premixed, there is one flavor they always said give it a week and it was true. even diy the flavors dont exist for a a day or three. put them aside and try them later when the tongue is working better.

not sure what "cheap juice" means as the supplies cost pennies to begin with. and the ingredients are what they are .

All I know is I used to order hypnotic mist from several vendors, won't mention names and just before they ran out and took it away/stopped selling it I noticed it getting progressively weaker... All power to the vendors, seriously, it's gotta be a pain in the **s mixing juice to suit ppl's preferences but they ARE making a ton of $$$ off it so if you find a juice you really like, def look into mixing it yourself. There's instructions on the ultra-simple method here (halfway down) - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/378914-suggestions-newbies.html
