There are a few threads that mention it, but they're pretty stale. Why aren't these more popular?

I got one this morning, threw a Protank coil into it (I seldom use the pack-in coils that come with non-Kanger Protank-coil devices, bad experience so far with those), filled it up with 5ml (!) of Vader Puddin, and have been vaping it pretty much all day without a single gurgle or leak and no change in flavour so far, and it's still half full. The center cylinder/chimney is a LOT thicker than the Protank's, which I believe helps keep liquid out of it (better seal with the silicone grommet on the coil).

Sure, it's a bit bigger, a bit heavy (no more than my Protank 2 though, really), but the thought of having a clearo I can bring with me when I don't know when I'll be able to fill next is really pretty great.

and I have a protank 1 and IT IS A BEAR to get inside to clean / dry

Hyper any better ?

once broke, in the can it goes (no rebuild ?)

Hyper ½ tank (1.5ml)($6) would get me interested maybe (5ml to big)

You fill them from the bottom, like a Protank, but there's more room between the centre cylinder and the outside wall, so you can do it with a standard 'chubby' nozzle on a 30ml bottle without any effort. Easier to fill than a Protank, but not by much (Protanks are easy).

I haven't cleaned it yet, but I imagine soaking the tank in hot water, couple of rinses should be fine, after all, it's glass.

But yes, once you break the glass, it goes in the bin, you can't replace it on account of the aluminium jacket. Though I think the jacket might increase the durability somewhat.

The EVOD is pretty much a Hyper ½ tank, other than the glass of course.

I have to say, the Hyper Tank is the best clearo I have yet tried.

Protank - Get metalic taste from time to time. Can't change drip tip. ProTank 2, no air flow on Provari, must change base.
Davide - Get rubbery taste from time to time.
PuriTank - Ok tank.

I have to say, I am really impressed with the Hyper Tank. I just received mine 2 days ago. Great air flow, not airy, not tight. No metalic taste. Taste is not muted as the rest. I only wish this tank came in a 3ml size instead of a 5ml size.

By the way vdaedalus, the coils that come with this tank are really good. I like you have had bad experience with coils that don't come with non kanger products. But these coils are really good.

ProTank 2, no air flow on Provari, must change base.

Mine works fine on the provari, all I do is loosen the tank 1/4 of a twist off from being tight and works like a champ. I've also read that not tightening the coil into the base too tightly helps with airflow as well.

Having just bought two protank 2's, I must say I am getting a couple of hypertanks as well - 5ml of juice is just waaaaay too convenient!

Love this tank! I still love my PT 2's but the capacity of this tank is worth the size. I bought this new off classies and will definitely pick up more.. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1384099601.983626.jpg
Looks pretty on my original chrome Provari :)

Hey all, I have a question for you. I got a new hypertank and am using it on an itazte vv. Occasionally I'm getting a burnt hit.. about once every few puffs if I'm going to town on it. (the puff counter is over 300 though) Is there anything I can do to end the very rare burnt taste?

Voltage set at 4.0
Wattage set at 8.0
Using a cinnamon roll juice (Which tastes SO nummy)

I haven't tried the Unitank but it happens to me with the Puritank. Uses either Protank or eVod heads, holds 5 ml of liquid and has a removable driptip. I really hate how Protanks vape.
