Which cartos do you think are better, 808 or 510?

tried using cartomizers when I first started vaping. They were hard caps and I didn't know what I was doing despite all I read and, well, I messed it all up and gave the rest away. Didn't want anything to do with them. Started dripping after that

Now after three months of vaping, I got hold of some cartos, 808 and 510, all have the easily removable soft caps, along with an adapter so I can use the 808's on my Ego batt.
Got them all filled and working properly now and I'm enjoying them.

Seems to me that the 808 cartos might be performing a lttle better than the 510's, but still too soon to tell. The 808's I have are from V4L and I'm seeing that these are the only ones they sell.

Wondering what others' opinions are between using the 510's and the 808's? One other question, what is the difference between the V4L WOW and Premium cartomizers?

Well, they're are so many types of cartos!

If we're comparing standard 808's to standard SLB or Boge 510's (i.e., filler cartos with a coil in the middle), I tend to prefer the 808's. The 510 SLB's perform well, but they seem to burn faster. The 510 Boge's don't perform as well to me.

Then there's the Joye cartos, with a filler tank and an atty underneath. I haven't played with those enough to comment on their longevity, but they perform a lot like an atty and cart, without the frequent refilling. But they're not really comparable to the 808's.

Then there's the CE2's - whole nother kettle of fish.

So, if we're just talking filler carts with the coil in the middle... I like the 808's better. VaporNine and CigEasy cartos are my fave.

Mistress, please tell a little more about the Joye cartos with a filler tank and an atty underneath.

Where can I find them.

What battery do they fit? (I'm assuming it's a 510)

They're at CigNot, and they make them in both 510 and eGo versions. The 510 versions will fit an eGo just like a 510 atty would, but the eGo version holds more liquid - about 2ml. The 510 version are also a little longer than an atty/cart, if I remember correctly.

To me, they taste more like an atty than they do a carto. They vape pretty well, and seem to hold up for quite a few refills from what I've read. But I have only tried some that someone else had, so I haven't owned them personally.

They require a small syringe to fill them - I think 18ga? Maybe 16ga? Can't remember. But you have to refill them through a small fill port.

Some people have had success filling them through the bottom with the condom method, but there's questions about how evenly that fills them.

Thanks, I think I'll go have a look at them.

I have some syringes with 18ga blunt needles, but I think I can get some 16ga if necessary.

Gauges go in reverse order, so if you have 18ga, that's smaller than 16ga and it'll definitely work. No need to buy more. :)

Thanks for the link Shan. :) Cozzi has turned those cartos inside out, and his vids have lots of info.
