I've just spent all night online trying to buy an e-cig. I'm VERY confused! Ok so I found the "juice" at e puffer--now I think I like the mini-cigs best. But I read about all the failing parts and batteries. These critters are not cheap, folks. So I just have to ask. Which ecig is REALLY the best value overall--mostly I want it to just friggin' work! I smoke like a chimney and really need to back off!

And please don't spam with stuff you're selling--I just really need the str8 story here folks! It that asking too much?

Thanks, in advance, for your responses! <smiles>

The penstyle, although bulkier, will be a lot less aggravation and maintanance fopr you or anyone for thqta matter- bigger cartridges mean less changing- better atomizers mean less burnt taste (the minis for some reason don't taste very well- there may be soem which are fine, but I think overall, the minis just aren't rated very well just yet- maybe if a new design comes out- but I'd hold off on buying one until then)

Although hte penstyle isa bigger and bulkier, and not as stylish, I think it will be a better product for now. Just my opinion- also go with a company that has really good service- you'll need it- SmartFixx so far has been very good in my experience- and very fast- but I've only been using them for a month now too. Other companies like NJoy and Ruyan and MyEcig and Smokester's UK site are also rated high- I think right now,m where the technology is new, and parts aren't the greatest, the service is an important concideration- as they become cheaper and more widely available, well, things may change then.

i have a different opinion on the mini.. I'm not talking the Super Mini(ones that look just like cigs). The DSE901's that i have received have been fantastic. good taste, good vapor amount, decent cart life(about half of a pen).

A lot is up to personal preference.. Tell us where you are and we'll find someone to get you squared away.

Yeah- I wasn't thinking in lines of the midsized (They really should rename it to midsized)- I was more thinking in lines of the super minis getting bad reviews- Sandy- the midsized one Dusty speaks of is a good one too if you're looking for somethign a bit smaller, this would be an excellent option- MyEgic.com sells them and a couple of people here really swear by them- I haven't tried them yet myself though

To respond to the first posting first~~~
Sorry folks--I live in Florida. And it would be nice NOT to have to wait 6 weeks for stuff to get to me if that's not asking too much. There's a site that "claims" to be in Fl--but I've been around the WWW and ebay enuff to know that grammar is NOT coming from an American--and most likely--neither is what they sell--nor the service for it.

Thanks again for the responses--I'll continue on thru them now!

the one i was looking at actually was shaped like and looked like a cigarette. Maybe it's a super mini? Geesh I guess I need to learn the vocabulary here--like taking calculus? Somehow I just wanted this to be easier.

A side note: Nicotine is used for a variety of neurological concerns as a medicine. Some even think it's why some people have such a hard time giving up smoking. I have noticed that most of you guys seem to spell like dislexics (I'm dislexic). Not that this means much--I just noticed. Have quit twice with Chantix--3 months each time--despite the WICKED dreams--but then my BP crashes and I end up in the ER with chest pains and in shock--seems smoking is the ONLY thing that will bring it back up.
Try to tell THIS to a doctor!! <chuckles>

I have real needs for a good product here. Thanks for the help guys!
But I live it and I know 40 years of heavy smoking is going to be REALLY tuff to stop.

Ok so I go to ecig--they have the type I want--they call it a super mini--AND seems shipping is pretty quick--price is also not bad. But then I look further. NO #$%$# spare atomizers for sale for this product. Didn't you guys say I needed one? Everything I read suggests I do. <BIG SIGHS> How can I be sure that if I buy an atomizer on another site it will fit this model.

Also this "looks" to me like a re-sellers site. How do I know this person hasn't just got a "hobby" and will dump me when this product needs service--which it OBVOUSLY will.

Also when I put ecig into Google to search it up came 10 awful reviews. Do all these sellers have tons of awful reviews? Is this ecig product just not working well yet at all no matter what type it is?

Am I sounding REALLY stupid by now? <chuckles>

Help me Obi Wan E cig group! You're my ONLY hope!

Hey cbeach

I know it's hard to believe but these things help massively in kicking, or at least reducing, tobacco use. We have some mighty smokers on here, lifelong users (I'm one of 'em) and a really common theme is how effortless the move to e-cigs was. Nobody's making any claims about e-cigs denting your nicotine dependency (and I think they're virtually useless for that purpose) but they sure do make tobacco manageable.

I haven't completely tanked real cigarettes yet. The first hit of the day is particularly hard to replicate. However, I no longer believe I'm missing the nicotine on that one. I think it's far more likely to be the chemical soup I crave. Ten minutes puffing on my pen-style takes care of that, and the range of flavours is fantastic - takes a bit of getting used to though.

Good luck

Hi Emp!

I'm convinced! No one has to sell me on the concept--logically it "should" work! I'm ready to jump on it--YESTERDAY!

BUT--and here's the big down side--thats only if the product continues to function--and/or I can buy spare parts to keep it working--and there's someone to call when it craps out.

No, I'm really NOT a rip roaring bi-atch <chuckles> I just need to know how to put together a plan to buy everything I need to start this program and to be able to stay on it.

Am I making sense?

Did you go to ecig.com, ecigsales.com or myecig.com?

I personally like the pensystles. I haven't tried Meltrex's "MyEcig Super Mini Electronic Cigarette", but this is the one I would recommend. He has great customer service and if anything goes wrong - he will correct it very fast. I get my orders from him (penstyle) usually within 2 days.

myecig (dot) com(slash) store

(the software here is refusing to allow me to post a link)

Is where I went--and that IS the one I want. But that site is VERY limited. Seems a reseller with just a few options--none of which includes selling spare atomizers--or for sure juice.

Am trying the other sites you mentioned now in hopes of a better selection of stuff needed.

thanx for the response!!!

You're in FL, right? I think Meltrex is the guy you should go with (I'm in UK so haven't used him but he's a board member and our hard-to-pleasers speak very highly of him).

In the UK we have two good guys, Pillbox and Smokester, and their units are very well priced. The thing we'll all have to get used to is that the devices are as consumable as the carts. Atomisers will break and batteries fail.

I've been extravagant to begin with (bought from all ends of the spectrum) but the way I see this going forward is to replace the atomiser every month or so and the batteries twice a year. Extravagance won't survive that so prices will have to fall.

I'll buy an atomiser for a fiver and a battery for eight quid but I won't go much further north. Some of the high end suppliers need to think about this (Janty have already done so).

I would email myecig.com and ask Meltrex if he sells extra atomizers for the mini. He is trying to get everything up and going and like I said, he has great customer service and will respond to you quickly.

Do not order the mini e-cig from ecig.com because I do not know anyone who is happy with that one.

I don't even know if Jane sells a mini e-cig from ecigsales.com. You might want to email her and ask.

Ok so I wrote on the site and asked for the atomizer--no response to my email--but suddenly a new page showed up on the site selling them. That'll do! <grins> But NOT to be so easily pleased I have now written and asked him for juice as well. Ok so maybe I'm a bit of a bi-atch??

So, since he responded, I ordered the super mini I liked. Then came back here to do more get "juice" fast research. And there it is--the posting--says DON'T BUY THE SUPER MINI!

ARRRG!!!

I give up--I tried my best--if it doesn't work then I ask for that wonderful service you guys promised would come. Then write back here if it doesn't come, right? <evil grins>

But I gotta be reasonable--I'd spend this much in a week on cigarettes anyway--maybe it'll at LEAST last that long????

Nuff said~~~

Unless you guys now have a good, fast, juice contact? (No I am NOT into brewing it myself--OK maybe I've home rolled a few--:thumb: but ONLY the kind you can't buy pre-rolled if you get my drift)

Thanks again guys for all the help!
Sandy :)
