milliamp hours or mah is jsut battery life... won't really help with TH. I am a TH-chaser as well... I usually vape 6V at 3ohms. I quickly moved passed the 510s and eGo's into mods... I think if you want TH you really have to go for mods... that way you can use 3.7V with 1.5ohm atomizers or 6V with 3.0ohm atomizers, which will increase TH.

I disagree. mAh is not bat life but bat power. ie a 600mAh bat with a 2ohm resistor (atty) can produce 0.6 amps in 1 hour. Where a 1000mAh bat can produce 1 amp through the same atty in 1 hour. More amps = more heat.
Also Power = Amps X Volts. More resistance, less amps less power.
So if you using 3v bat with 1.5ohm atty is exactly the same as using a 6v bat with a 3ohm atty. Same amperage and same power. No diffs.whatsoever.

Believe me. I am an Electronics Engineering Tutor.

I do not believe:
Power = Ampsx Volts = VxI , while
Amps = Volts/Resistance or I = V/R
By Substitution: Power = V x V/R

using 3v bat with 1.5ohm atty Power = 3x3/1.5 = 6 Watt (Current = 2A)
using a 6v bat with a 3ohm atty, Power = 6x6/3 = 12 Watt (Current = 2A)

Even though the current is the same, power is double....

From a 600mAh bat you draw 0.6 amps in one hour with a 2ohm resistor IF you supply it at a voltage of 1.2 V (V= IR)
The power produced will be (Power = VxI) = 1.2x0.6 = 0.72 Watt

From a 1000mAh bat you draw 1 amps in one hour with a 2ohm resistor IF you supply it at a voltage of 2 V (V= IR)
The power produced will be (Power = VxI) = 2x2 = 4 Watt

600 mAh means the battery can supply 600 mA for 1 hour or 1.2 A for 30 mins or 300 mA for 2 hours
1000 mAh means the battery can supply 1000 mA for 1 hour or 2 A for 30 mins or 500 mA for 2 hours

The heat (or Power) supplied by any battery depends on the Voltage and
the Resistance (Power = VxI), not mAh rating . The "mAh" merely indicates the expected battery life - if you know the mA you will draw, you can estimate the time the battery will last.

To respond to the OP - Low Resistance is the best way to get the desired TH for me, and also new atty's of course. After a few days of use atty's seem to get "tired" - reasons and remedies can be found all over the ecf.

I use LR atty's with any eGo type batteries or 510 Pass throughs. Some of the batts do not like the low resistance and cuts out after 2 seconds or so.

I normally rinse and dry burn to revive tired attys - does not always work. But i seldom kill them with dry burn.

Hi, my new Ego T (A) arrived today. Have been vaping my 510 with atty & cartridges for past month.

I think I'll get used to the bigger size of the Ego, but I have to say I am disappointed with the flavour produced. Have tried 2 juices, but both have no flavour when compared to my 510. I think it may be because the vapour is too cool. Thus have ordered a Type B LR atty, which I am hoping will give a higher temperature and hopefully the flavour of my juices will return. I just love my Old Holborn & Coffee flavour.

Nomdo, I fully agree with you. You are correct. I presume you work at SASOL or AECI as an Instrument Techie if they still exist there.
One Amp through a 2.5ohm atty is less heat than 1 Amp through a 5 ohm atty. I forgot that as I am retired now for 15 years from electronics. One Amp was more powerful 15 years ago than it is now. :):mad:

yes you are right -- SASOL -- Now how the hell did you figure that out? I wish I was a good at figuring out stuff like that...

anyway, happy vaping!!

Found you need to use them a few times for the flavour to stay.
