I would personally recommend looking at the variable volt mods that way you aren't fixed by the batteries voltage and can adjust anywhere you want to hit your sweet spot. The Buzz Pro has just been released and a great choice among others. Nothing wrong with the V3 you listed though, great mod, I just got spoiled once I went vv.

There's so many to choose from these days :) I don't have a Prodigy, but I just ordered it's little brother the Icon. I hear those things are super tough. I also have a ProVari and a good ol' VV box mod, all of which I like. It's kind of addictive. The Silver Bullet is popular, and there's the coppers from AtmosUSA and the list goes on and on and on

I think I like the idea of vv.

It all depends on what you want.

Basically (imo) any step to a mod is a step up. So have at it. So many options, any particulars that you want in your mod?

Definitely a 5v maybe even a vv. The cost is the only thing that may keep me away from a vv at the moment. I like the cylinder style not so interested in the boxes.

Here's my recommendations fwiw, I have tried a few!!!

3.7/6 -- Silver Bullet, Chuck, GGTB
5 -- GLV, Triple V
VV -- Provari, Buzzpro (taking orders)

Bottom feeders taste different than drippers and tanks, be ready for that if you decide to go in that direction. The VVs I am waiting on are for the GGTS (don't start this addiction until you become more advanced!!! :)) and the Notcigs VVPV that will be released in about a month or so. I would try to find one of these for sale in the classys until you decide on what it is you exactly like, its expensive to buy new!!!! 8-o8-o8-o Also remember, vary the atty, vary the taste, HV vaping is different, you have to watch your attys a lot more.

Good luck, what a long, strange trip its been for me anyway!!!:thumb:

I have had my GLV as my only PV for 2 years. Its a workhorse. Fires every single time. Its been dropped more times than I can count and even fell into the toilet bowl once. After a thorough cleaning and drying it worked perfectly. I am wanting to have a VV as well as my GLV so I plan on ordering myself a provari this week. My advice is to spend the extra money and get a mod that will last for years.

Well... since you like your ego-t attys, there is one tube mod out there that is designed to accept ego-t and ego-mega attys natively. The megalodon from electronicstix. I think they're sold out right this minute, but they re-stock often and have a sub-forum here on ECF.

The megalodon accepts an 18350 in short form at 3.7v, an 18650 in long form for 3.7v, a 5.0v ni-mh batt, or stacked lifep04 3.0v batts for 6.0v.

You could always just get this. Another memeber turned me on to it yesterday.

+1. I wish I could say its awesome, but mine won't be here till tuesday, so check with me a week from tuesday :). However, this was my thought process. I like the ego, I have the batteries, an ego booster adds VV to that setup in an attractive compact package. I also needed something I can travel with easily and didn't look like a pipe bomb (this was actually primary consideration for me).

Prodigy V3.1 or a Buzz Pro.

Can't beat an all mechanical mod like the Prodigy. Pocket friendly ta boot.

The Buzz Pro (I just ordered when Mike opened pre-orders) is a variable voltage mod. Once you go VV, you won't go back. Great customer service and well built mod. I have 5 of the original Buzz's if that's any indication.
