For a beginner I'm all for keep it simple. I would say istick (but a 30w or 40w model). Cheap, easy to charge, and smaller and lighter. It's the tank that will make the difference.

For a more experienced or moderate vaper, I would always recommend a mod with a replaceable battery, IMHO.

In some respects it depends on how you intend to use it. I find a 30w istick to be a lot more pocket friendly. However my 18650 mod (evic vtc mini) will probably last longer and be more worth the money.

IMO, if it has SUB-OHM anywhere on the page. IT IS NOT INTENDED TO HELP YOU QUIT SMOKING. It is intended to entertain children or for "adults" who like to play with toys. I refer you to my previous Corvette comment.

I vape today,1 year after picking up the vape and 9 months after last cigarette, at 1ohm to 1.5ohm (10-15 watts). IF I had started at the level I am at today, Rather than the Two ohm plus I used on my Protank and EGO1100 battery.

I WOULD BE HOLDING A ZIPPO AND A MARLBORO RIGHT NOW. Instead of an Origin Mech with a Hobo full of Mystery NET juice. I also would be sitting in the backyard, instead of the living room.

I've been thinking about the sub box nano so I've studied it. Yes it's a kit but it comes with 2 coils, a sub ohm and an above ohm.

BUT, it is designed for the SUBOHM coil. Which almost always means the air flow is LESS suitable to PLUS ohm vaping.

IMO, a beginner or a quitting smoker.. Would be best served, with a cigarette like draw and vapor production. A stick battery and CE4 will do that. But a bit of flavor will be needed to make vaping enjoyable, hence the Clearomizer, thats where the Protank and Nautilus come it.

SUBOHM can be a GOAL, but should NOT be a first or intermediary STEP.

I really don't care what BATTERY is used, 2000w box is fine IF it can run at 5 watts for the first few months of vaping.
