Hey guys -

I'm about 99% sure I want to try the REO Grand but I'm trying to figure out which atty to buy. There are a lot of different versions of the Reomizer, 2.0, 3.0, 5.0. Which one would be best for me? I currently have a Patriot rda as my only dripper now and I like that. I don't like a super airy draw, something in between tight and airy is ideal.

Thanks!

Hmmm... a Goldilocks puzzle, eh?

Probably an RM4 would be to your liking. It's a larger chamber (for the RM family) with AFC, so you can dial the air up or down. You'd need to get the LP version of the Grand to use it.

You'd probably find the RM2 and RM3 to be a tad tight if you're used to a Patriot, but you could drill out the air holes if you're into some light modding. Of those two (both are excellent), I'd recommend the RM3 to give you dual coil capability.

Congrats, BTW, on making the decision to join the Reo family.

I second the RM4...I've just been running it in single coil mode with airflow on the biggest hole but closed off about 1/8 of the way.. Took a few adjustments initally, but I was able to find the perfect draw for me. Also, it is nice to build on and has the updated screws for the +/- posts, which work better than every other rda Ive tried- a nice solid, snug tighten everytime. I'm definitely happy with it. I might try the RM3 soon too...

Hey there MakoFury, I am 110% if you do get a reo..............you will love it. My search for what I have been looking for ended 4 months ago when I fell in love with the reo. I know this is what I will be using the rest of my vaping days. It is good to find a happy place and I hope you do too. Everyone is different, I can just tell you how happy I am with the reo grand and the reo mini. Good luck to you and happy vaping.

I have only used the rm2 but I am sure if it is on the reosmod website, it is Robapproved and will be awesome. Here is a little info on the rms that if I am not mistaken came from Rob at reosmod. Hope it helps.

The rm2 is best suited for new vapors in my opinion it has a ceramic deck wide post very easy to build coils and the ceramic deck reduces the chances of a short .
The rm2 is as close to a perfect atomizer as it gets .

You have the standard reomizer 2.0 works on regular grands and mini mods and modern wood mods

The lp reomizer the same atomizer will only work on LP mods only and looks a little nicer there is no exposed brass

The reomizer 3 very nice atomizer great flavor can be run as a single coil or a dual coil not as user friendly as the reomizer 2.0

The reomizer 4 and 5 have air flow control rings much larger atomizers . The reomizer 4.0 can be used as a dual coil or single coil dont expect to get the same flavor from a large atomizer as one of the smaller rms . In my opinion small atomizers produce better flavor .
The reomizer 5.0 is a dual coil mod only atty
