you made a great choice.
here's the reason why generic batteries from V4L are just fine....V4L doesn't build batteries. They order them with their logo printed on the sides. why would they sell these if the quality is different? i would think they are made side-by-side and just not logoed, so they are a tad cheaper.

the logoed batteries come in more color and LED variations. thats the only difference i can tell.

I must respond to this. The Generic batts are fine....but the V4L branded batts differ in more than just the logo.
Everything from Airflow in the size of the holes to cuttoff time etc etc is improved in the V4L branded batt.
For a specific example...the generics are a 5 second cuttoff. Our V4L's are 10-13 second and the Diamond or Stealth Series are even longer at 20 second.
The biggest improvement for me however is the airflow. The draw is much nicer on the V4L branded battery.

We are constantly working with the manufacturers on improving the product. The Generic is just that..Generic.

thanks for the coupon clover.

so wader, there is a difference in quality between the generic battery system and the brand? is the shorty value kit the "brand name"?

just ran into a lil problem before checkout (again lol), how do i know which strength mg to get? i dont want to get the 0 or 4mg, and 36mg seems a bit high, where should i start? 8mg, 11mg, or 16mg?

Hey Yellow.....I usually recommend 18mg for a new user...maybe 11 mg. It's a nice middle ground to start from and adjust from there.
36mg is too much for MOST people. Even 24 is a little stiff..especially for a light smoker.

Our V4L branded batteries are improved in every way from the Generic battery. The Shorty Value Kit does come with our V4L branded batteries. One thing to keep in mind when deciding between Regular, Shorty and XL length battery is time between charges though.

The Shorty batt is only gonna last up to 2 hours before it needs charged.
The Regular batt -- 4-6 hours in between charges.
XL battery 6-8 hours. I get 8 hours solid off an XL Manual. This is perfect for me as it lasts a full shift at work ...then I use a PT on the ride home.

I really can't recommend a shorty to someone first trying out E-cigs as they just don't go long enough before needing charged.

I thought it odd that the site doesn't list any 5ml bottles. Have they been phased out?

Also, Yellow, you can refill 25-30 cartomizers with the 30ml bottles of juice.

On a side note, the 25% discount only runs through to the 20th, so be sure to order before then if you want that great deal! :)

i got two "Premium Vapor King Tobacco Shop Sampler # 2 Cartomizers" one 11mg and one 18mg strength.

i just wish i could have tried tobacco shop sampler (#1)...wader, can you possibly include that in exchange for two sampler #2's?

To clear something up... it's fine to order from and ship to NY. The proposed law to ban e cigs has been written in commitee, but has not been brought up for a vote in either the assembly or state senate. The hope is that part 2 of the bill will get excluded. That is still possible. In the meantime, NY has no legal restrictions on e cigs.
