The WOW cartomizers run hotter and run at a lower resistance. The Premium are the Cool Carts, which as the name implies run cooler and have a higher resistance. Personally, I enjoy the WOW carts better because I like a warmer vapor and to me, produce more vapor and throat hit (TH).

And yes, the WOWs (as Keyzy said) contain more VG in the mix.

I'm not sure on which tastes the closest to a real tobacco cigarette, but out of the few tobacco flavors I've tried, Wowboy is my favorite.

One thing you have to realize though, is that it would be very difficult to make the same flavor you'd get out of burnt tobacco. Obviously because it is in fact, burnt. I think that after you try various flavors and find a few that you like, you'll no longer want one that tastes like tobacco. :)

I think almost everyone goes for the tobacco flavors when they start.
My favorite is 555 but it doesn't taste anything like the tobacco I used to burn.
Tried all the menthol and lots of flavors people said they liked.
My go to vape is the Smilen Special, a mint with a touch of chocolate. I also like the Wowboy as it's more chocolate with a touch of mint.
As you progress it seems your taste changes in flavors and what was good week one is at the bottom of the list on week four.

good to know, ill try the coffee sampler next. best cartomizers too huh? well now that im a V4L vapor king owner (though i obviously havent gotten it yet since i just ordered it an hour ago), and this is the V4L subforum, can i ask a question to people who have tried many of the other 2 piece cartomizer e-cig brands like greenhouse,bloog, etc....?

is V4L really the best 2 piece e-cig? maybe its a silly question considering IT IS the v4l subforum, but i feel OK in asking now that i made up my mind, purchased my kit, and hearing from everyone that is so helpful

I would say that V4L is the top of the heap in stock equipment, cartomizers and juice flavors.
One of the things I considered before I made my jump here was their popularity. You can see that by going to the top of this page and clicking on the Forum link by the "home" symbol. Once on the main forum page scroll down to the list of forum suppliers and see how many people are reading each of the supplier forums. The V4L forum always has the most viewers and active posts.
You made a very good choice. The next thing you will find out is their customer service is also the top of the heap. Great staff, great products and the people on this forum are the best I've been around in 15 years of forum use.

Hi Yellow! Glad you found V4L's Forum and "graduated" from the New Members Forum.

Since you said you only smoke 3 cigis a day, ultralite, totally filtered, you may be not have deadened taste-buds. Flavours may be much more discernible for you on a clean palate.

The "Tobacco Shop" samplers are quite nice, whether Wow or CoolCarts. One of my favs is Dunhall; it captures the taste of a Dunhill blue label fairly well. There's one called "Hilton" (believe it's in CoolCarts) that is a very crisp tasting tobacco. Not sure how to describe it other than "crisp" like autumn leaves & clean air "crisp" LOL

Have to give an emphatic nod to the "Coffee Shop" sampler. And, I'm a hard-core coffee drinker; neat, double scoop type, by the pot. V4L's flavours are very mellow, creamy & sweet; almost dessert-like for me.

Oh! almost forgot... V4L ships very discrete packages via USPS Priority Mail. Nothing flamboyant or embarrassing. A mailroom clerk, a resident manager, a doorman, a snoopy neighbour would not bat an eye... neither would a postman for that matter.

And, one more thing... SnowDragon has a well done YouTube vid on refilling. It is so very, very easy!

Oh, and another thing... Do not rule out flavoured cartos & juices. I received a "Fruit Punch" sample that was quite nice. I also tried the "Candy Shop" sampler and fell in love with the Black Licorice (enough so to order a 30-mL bottle).

Last thing for this evening... Nic is not the demon child. ;-)

wade: thanks, i learned something new here. i've never noticed the airflow *and* never exceed the cutoff times but i imagine others take longer drags. i guess it depends on how you use it. good to know.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For a specific example...the generics are a 5 second cuttoff. Our V4L's are 10-13 second and the Diamond or Stealth Series are even longer at 20 second.
