Which tank is best to get?

So I found a new mod, I guess its referred to that, I want to get with my job that I do. I work in a vehicle dealership working on diesels and I am pretty rough on my current setup. The mod I want to get is a DOVPO E-LVT. From what I read its 30 watts. I have been talking to a few shops here and they say I can go with a kanger sub tank mini, atlantis tank or a arctic tank. I want to be able to use replaceable coils until I can learn how to build them myself. What is everyone's experiences with these tanks. Pros and cons?

Middime, I'm familiar with the Atlantis and the Subtank. Of the two, my preference is the Subtank - stock OCCs are great at both 1.2 and .5 ohms, easy to rewick and easy to build. I like a somewhat airy vape, so typically have two air holes open. As Susan said, some folks who are MTL hitters don't love these tanks -- but I vape MTL and haven't had a problem. YMMV, of course! Hopefully, someone who knows the Arctic will pop in, shortly. Best of luck to you, and welcome to ECF!

Im still fairly new to vaping im in about 5 month. I dont have any experience with the mod or tanks that you listed middime but i started with a simple ego twist the disposable tanks and about a month ago moved up to a 1300mah x6 battery and eather a protank 2 or aerotank with the v3 airflow control valve. Im hard on the tanks and batteries dropping them. And i have had no break issues what so ever yet. You can find both on the net for pretty cheap it may save a nice mod from getting to beaten up in a shop.

The only tank I've tried thus far is the Atlantis. I'm a lung hitter and the Atlantis does that well but it mutes my flavors even at 40 watts (which is where it performs best for me).

From what I have read about the Arctic coils here is what the manufacturer recommends:

0.5 ohm coil = 20 to 30 watts => some reviews like this coil at much higher watts
0.2 ohm coil = 30 to 100 watts

There are also many other sub-ohm tanks, Joyetech Delta II, FreeMax Starre, SmokTech VTC, Herikles.

A couple of nights ago some of the reviews in the community did panel talking about many of the sub-ohm clearomizer tanks hitting the market: The Reviewers Queue. Click on "show more" to see the panel and get the link to the video.

I have the DOVPO and love it. Guy at the shop were I bought showed me one that a truck had run over . The display face was cracked, but the mod still worked. He put a Atlantis tank on and I gave it a try. Worked great! I got the Nautilus tank, but may get the Atlantis down the road.

Good thing about the DOVPO is you can charge through the port and when the battery dies just get a new battery and not have to buy a new mod.

i use the Atlantis tank, really like it, noticed if i put it on the second hole of the airflow, i'm able to do mouth to lung inhale, if i put the airflow on the 3rd hole, its an easy direct to lung inhale, flavor given is really good, coils are perfect(still running on a 2 weeks old coil and no burn taste yet), 1 problem is that the 2ml tank is really small for a sub ohm battery, u will need to fill it at least twice a day, if i were u i will get the 5ml replacement tank. hope it helped u!

Hello Middime and welcome to ECF. I use a itaste VTR with a Nautilus Mini tank and really like it. I have read that the VTR is really well constructed and I like the fact that the tank is recessed and protected. From my limited knowledge, I have noticed that everyone has their own opinion of what the best combination is, although mine is the best. lol I can't help you on a good online vendor as I, so far, have made all my purchases from a local B&M. Hang around, I'm sure others will be here that can better assist you. Enjoy and keep on vaping.
