I am about a month into vaping and I would like to get other opinions out there on tanks. I have personally a T3 tank as well as 2 pro tubes. It's not that I am unhappy with them but I would like to know is there anything better out there. For power I have a variable joy tech 650Ma and the volcano inferno v2 kit as well as a lavatube v2. I am a little lost with all the ohm and volts with watts chart so I just want to ensure I am using the right tools. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

So far I am seeing everyone with wick tanks. I am stuck. I have started with the wick tank and when I got my inferno and lavatube it came with a tube tank. Granted it is a pain sometimes to prime but it almost hits better. I know a lot comes to personal preference, I know the pro tank really hit smooth. I need to get the viva nova as I have heard a lot about those. Thanks to all.

Protank is worth a shot. Fairly easy to rebuild if you want to get into that. If you can hold off until the protank 2 comes out, main differences are that the 2 is completely rebuildable and can use other drip tips. Def look into this if you want a sturdy reliable tank that holds a good amount of juice and produces great vapor.

IBTanked sells really good pyrex carto tanks and I would have stopped using the Protank if it wasn't for the fact that I have been rebuilding them for some time and get a much more satisfying vape from a microcoil and cotton wick than the stock heads. I love RDA's (Igo-L/Cyclone) above everything else I have used.

RBA/RDA > drip atomizer on bottom feeding mod > cartotank > bottom-coil/bottom-wick clearo > top-coil/top-wick clearo

At what point should a person start to get involved with RBA/RDA. I have seen a lot of users talk about it, but when you read items online that have a pretty scary disclaimer. Just curious.

I'm new here and to vaping also. I started the beginning of July and haven't touched a cigarette since. I purchased a Zen atty RBA but it came already wired. I'm jumping into this fast and can't wait to rebuild it myself.

What type of mod are you using it on? Read the battery safety stuff, for sure. You have a multimeter or do you have a mod to check resistance?

Also, check out the micro coil thread in the RBA section. Lots of pictures and tons of advice.

really, there is no ONE best delivery device, because different situations call for different things.

So, here is a couple which I think do really well, given the right environment.

Kanger Evod/Kanger Pro Tank Mini- These are really great all day vape devices, if you are someone who likes to always have a couple different flavors ready to go. I usually have 2-4 of them filled with different juices. They use the same replaceable coil heads too. Use Evods for the majority of juices, and have a Protank Mini or Two on hand for the tank killers.

Kanger Pro Tank/Pro Tank 2-Just like the Evods/Pro Tank Mini, but with larger capacity for those juices you love. Glass, so any juice can be used, and again, the same replaceable coil heads.

-The reason why I like all three of these, is because they are bottom coil devices. Basically no issues with dry hits. The juice is gravity fed into the coils. Plus, with having all three, you have a good choice of capacity and no worry about using tank killing juices.

The Classic Cartomizer-Really can't beat the old workhorse. Hassle free, plenty of different resistances available. Simple, effective. Ive been using Boge brand, and they seem to be working well for me.

the Carto Tank-Really, the Protank handles what the Carto Tank does, but there is a different type of vape to be had from a Bottom Coil like the ProTank, and the CartoTank. Perhaps you like the throat hit better on one device. Probably not a bad idea to have one or two on hand.

The Dripping Atomizer- Its good to have a few of these guys on hand, it makes trying juices easy without having to fill a whole Carto/Evod. Ive even got a bridged atomizer, so, not "optimized" for dripping really, and it works fine. That said, I know now that I like dripping, so Ive got some of the nicer HH 357 Attys on the way.

Then, if you still want to try new ways of vaping, read about and learn how to coil your own RBA/RDAs. Probably start with the RDAs, Rebuildable Dripping Atomizers, and then move into Genesis Style RBAs and so on and so forth. Check out the A7 RDA. It comes pre coiled, so you can try it out without having to coil it yourself, and it holds a decent bit of liquid, so its hard to screw it up at first. Nice and cheap, a cool little dripping atty.

It's funny you posted this. Because it is exactly what I am doing. I have this tight little case that I carry all my different tanks. So what ever I am in the mood for I am ready. I do appreciate how much detail you put into you post as I did learn some very good things from it. I do have one question you may or may not know. I have a tube tank and with that when I switch to let's say a bottom filled wick tank like T3 is there a certain amount of time that I have to use the tube tank. I worry that the cardo will dry out. Just curious I apologize for my lack of experience but I am eager to learn about everything. So I appreciate anyone's help. Thanks again
