Hi everybody, plz help as this is the 1st time buying tanks toppers for my gear. I'm getting an MVP 2, comes w/ I clear 30 2.0 BC. Buying 1 kanger evod 2.4 BC to match spinner & most likely going big with the aspire nautilus cuz I like the adjustable air flow! If u could recommend 1-3 more I would appreciate it. If u had horrible issues w/ any I mentioned, plz let me know. I would like a good top coil, as some ppl say they like them better. Also, do I buy like 5 replacement coils for each to start? And do u usually buy anything else when buying these? I unfortunately don't know how to rebuild, but wanna learn so I can drip, different post.... OK, think that's enough. Hopefully I get great feedback as my head is spinning from doing research this morning.:facepalm::facepalm:

I use PT2's on my MVP and Evod's on my spinner. Of course I also rebuild all of my coils (with cotton wick) and I think it makes a HUGE difference.

Kanger has had some QC issues with their coils for quite some time now. That's actually the reason I started rebuilding. If you have problems with you Evod, try removing the chimney then remove the flavor wicks and replace them with some cotton. You can use some from a cotton ball, cotton yarn or my favorite, cotton cooking twine.

Everyone is different so find what works for you, be it top coil, bottom coil, drippers, ect.

Enjoy the journey. :vapor:

For top coil I use the Iclear 30-S (not the regular iclear30 that I think you mentioned having)

The coils last me about 1-2 weeks (depending on the juice) and I never have any leaking/ flooding issues like I always do with the protanks..

I personally will always choose Aspire/Innokin products over Kanger

I did hear the new Kanger Mega has finally redesigned their wicks and they work 20x better so Kanger might finally be getting smarter on that aspect.

I've heard good things about the Protank 2 combined with an Aerotank base. Protank coils that use a single coils are cheaper and easy to find, plus they're easier to rebuild if you ever want to try that. The Aerotank base will let you adjust airflow. While I did enjoy the taste of top coil tanks, I found them to be more finniky then bottom coils and didn't really get into them.

Another thing to consider are cartotanks. In my opinion, they deliver better taste then any of the clearomizers I've tried, and have required less troubleshooting once set up correctly. They are tanks that you insert a cartomizer into (the atomizer that you would normally use on a cigalike with the polyfill stuffing inside). The cartomizer would have holes punched into the sides to allow the tank to feed it e-liquid constantly. Cartos seem to last a very long time in a tank, and when they do die, they die a slow death so that there's always warning. I've very rarely gotten stuck with a topper that needed to be taken apart while out and about this way. I use the tanks from IBTanked the most. They're nice, thick glass with metal end caps. The fit around the cartos is very snug, so you wouldn't have to worry about the carto slipping out. Their 15mm tanks would look great on the Spinner and the 19 mm tanks are the same diameter of the beauty ring that the MVP comes with and looks great on it. Go to the "Complete Tanks" part of IBTanked's website, and the page will walk you through buying everything you need for a complete cartotank. You can even get a custom paint job.

As he said, if you're going with Kanger clearos, you're going to be rebuilding soon, like it or not. The Kanger heads have been troublesome lately, or whatever reason.

The protanks are not that great with flavors though, so you'll have to rebuild that as well, to pull the flavor out of it.
For out and about, my T3s and MT3s do alright. They taste good, hold more liquid than an EVOD. But again, still the same issue with Kanger head QC.

Any good Genny, Russian, or Kayfun clone will work and fit great on your MVP, and you really can't beat the flavor. The Kayfun is easy to build, wont leak and performs well.

Sounds good, so after I order everything I need for a complete cartotank, do I put it together or they... Sry stupid question & I love the custom paint job haha. I REALLY wanna try dripping but no vapor shops by me & I have no clue! Maybe I can pay someone on here to build & send me 1! Lol

Goodness, thank goodness for this forum! I probably would've ordered 2 different colored Kanger tanks so glad I asked first.

They come with the end caps already installed on the glass. When you get one, and replacement cartos, you would drip juice into the carto until the polyfill won't hold any more juice. Then, you put on the filling tool (the long, skinny drip tip) on the carto and insert it into the tank, but not all the way. Just through the base. Leave room at the top of the tank to put juice into the tank. Once you filled the tank around 80% of the way, push the carto in all the way and replace the filling tool with a drip tip of your choice. If you get the Smok cartos from IBTanked, they have metal flanges on the bottom of them so you can't push them all the way through the tank. I find those to be handy.

I use vision spinners and have tried many tanks, but for flavor the kanger t2s are by far the best IMO. They do sometimes have a little leaking, but not bad, but I still prefer them over all others, flavors really come through on these. I have grown tired of trying others and never liking them as well.

People have been saying that for years. :D I get up to a month on each head and they never die. That's after multiple rinse cycles and varying degrees of voltage abuse. Even at that I only change them that soon because the silica gives out.

Most people dont want to have to wash a single coil multiple times and dry burn them and all that crap.. lol.. I'd rather just rewick the thing after a week.. much easier :)

Well you are off to a good start, so congrats on that.

I recommend the Kanger Aerotank. I haven't tried the Mega or Mini yet but the original Aerotank is great. I still use it to this day months after getting it. I had issues with flooding with the Nautilus and overall didn't really like it.

Also, a mini protank 3 would be nice for the vision spinner. I actually still use a Vision Spinner with a mini Protank 3 when I am out and about. It's a nice little combo so I would recommend that. Or get the Kanger Aerotank Mini for your vision spinner and that is a nice compact unit you can take with you when you leave the house. The mini aerotank will fit perfect on the ego style battery and it has adjustable airflow!!

I know, what's the deal with that? I never had any issues with a single kanger coil unit, ever! I have been using the same 2 heads in my aerotank and mini protank for easily 3 weeks-a month now of heavy vaping when I am not home using my mechs.
