So I have been searching for a Menthol Ice recipe ever since I started DIY and never found a good one. So I decided to experiment on my own and I think I found my all day vape! I use to vape strictly Menthol Ice for 3 years and it cost me a good amount of money. But I think with this recipe, I won't be needing to spend $15-$20 for a bottle no more. Here's the VERY simple yet VERY good menthol recipe that is just right for me...

TFA Menthol 3%
TFA Koolada 2%
TFA Sweetener 2%

For me, I only use 4mg nic and a 60% PG / 40% VG mix. It's good right after you shake it for a minute but I let it steep in a hot bath and it's just as good after that. Nice menthol flavor with a light ice throat hit and a little bit of sweet after taste.

Hope you guys enjoy!

I dont get the cool effect when using Koolada in any of my recipes. I do like that it adds throat hit though. Maybe I am not using enough? I used up to 5% one time and it made the juice almost unvapable for me. I usually use Koolada at 2% or less. If I want coolness, I go menthol. Nice simple recipe, ill have to give it a shot. Thanks for sharing.

When you say "sweetner" do you mean Pure Ethyl Maltol crystals or something else? And the menthol.. is it crystals or just a flavoring? I apologize for being so vape challenged. Thank you so much, this looks like exactly what I have been looking for.

Sweetner I use is just sweetner (sucralose). And menthol is just menthol flavoring, which TFA dissolves the menthol crystals themselves so the customer doesn't have to. Like I said, you can find all these at TFA.

I tweaked this recipe a bit to get it less of a "in your face" menthol hit. Menthol Ice has a more subtle menthol flavor so I tweaked my original recipe to match it and it came out great! However, if you like a strong menthol hit, then I suggest going with the original recipe.

TFA Menthol 1.5%
TFA Koolada 1.5%
TFA Sweetener 2%

Made my own version of this, sorta, adding in some of the TFA Creme De Menthe (I do love it so). Obviously a different animal with the creamy taste and sweetness of CdM but super duper tasty! Normally the CdM needs a good bit of steep time but at only 3% this one is vaping nicely right off the bat as well. Thanks for the help lostboy!

TFA Creme de Menthe 3%
TFA Menthol 2%
TFA Koolada 2%
TFA Sweetener 1%

An awesome menthol-y taste!

I had a bottle from Wiz for a while and never tasted it for the longest time, then I finally mixed up a 3% sample and it blew my head off, super menthol! You can even tell from smelling the bottle that's going to be the main thing coming from it. The bottle says Anise/Black Licorice, but I don't get any of that and I use and love both type of those flavors. Maybe at a higher percentage that could come through, but I doubt you could use a high enough percentage to do that due to the menthol level that would be created.

I just dipped a toothpick in to taste and see if I could taste anise/licorice, none just a slightly medicine-like slightly minty menthol

Soon after that I reviewed Halo's menthol SubZero, and that was it, lots of Horehound there too!

So now when I mix menthol for my family I always add 1-2%, if I don't they ask me why it's not as good and menthol-y as the other batches, so I can't even sneak one by them anymore :)

Try if if you're a menthol fan, you'll be happy you did!!

TFA only, other brands I have not tried so I can't say they'd taste the same.
