Has anyone, back in their smoking days every blown cigarette smoke through a white cloth or anything like that? Did you notice the really nasty, ugly brown residue it left behind. So, me being a newb I tried the white t-shirt test with the ego. I inhaled it and exhaled through a white cotton shirt to see what it would leave behind.

Yeah you got me, and i am at work also. It really left absolutely nothing behind. Not only no trace of anything visible, but there was no odor either. I found that intrigueing
This was already shown here on ECF about a year and a half ago, I just did it again with a tissue, it leaves nothing and it wont as long as it doesn't have Tar.
I think the tar as well as the general stuff is burning that makes it smell bad and stick to everything.. After switching to vaping I found I had to wash all my jackets that hadn't been washed since I stopped smoking.
The tar is what makes your lungs turn black, I think its the whole combination and the entire makeup of an Analog that smells disgusting.
Are you speaking of your presence at work? Or a similar test that you performed? Maybe you are the boss, eh.
