So, to be serious for a moment, it appears as though more than one vendor has probably bought JC's recipes and they won't be able to actually reveal that they're JC's recipes when they're re-released under their own house brands.
which sucks for people like me who cant stand the jc juices now i have to play russian roulette and hope i dont get relabbled juicy clear , for shame , either stay in the game or get out of it , this is ridiculous

A I hope they advertise it proudly because they'll get a customer for life from me. Nobody makes a better juice then their tims imo.

i am not bashing it i just would like to know i am well aware im one of the only people who doesnt like jc flavours ,

Both me and Smokum were jokum.

I'm sure JC will announce who purchased their recipes.... seeing as that company will definitely gain all their previous customers.

Not me.

I spent hundreds of dollars there, vaping 3-5mls of juicy clear Canadian Full Flavour every day for the past year.

Non-form letter Email from JC thanking me for my business? No.

Email from JC with exclusive prices and dates of final sale for past customers? No.

Freebies thrown in with my final gigantic order? No.

I got the generic "as most of you know" email. Pleh.

CFF was my all day vape for a full year, but I won't touch it or Juicy clear or any derivatives again.

Sad.

Honestly though - when a company has 3 days to sell off their entire stock and close up - and they were a very popular national company for over a year - I'm not surprised that people didn't get personal emails.

I think that kind of pressure would make for a near full head of grey hair and, I would imagine, a lot of sadness. I know what it's like to have something you built and that was a big part of you destroyed in without warning. It's tough and emotional. I had it happen to my home once and it felt like someone took out my heart and ran it over with a truck.

I hope whomever purchased those recipes will share some of the passion that must have gone into creating them.

I re-read that a few times. I don't have any first hand knowledge of the details - but it reads clearly to me that the recipes went to one company and that company will divulge their coup when they are ready.

I think this has been said before - but probably bears repeating - the vast majority of vendors (here and world-wide) do not create their own liquids. It requires a lot of skill, equipment and very specific conditions. Plus - like chefs - not everyone is going to be skilled at crafting flavors - even with really good recipes.

I'm an amazing cook - but a really crappy juice maker. I DIY occasionally for a gag (or out of bored curiosity) more than anything (and it almost always ends with a "gag" if ya know what I mean).

I wasn't a 'Fan' either myself........ although I didn't mind the CFF. For me, it was the nic base I didn't care for (idk, I gave up after a couple trial orders).

Either way, chances are that the vendor getting the recipe's won't exact match anyways unless they choose to use the EXACT ingredients/base AND measure tools.

from what i read it was being relabelled with a different name all im saying is there should be some way to let us know the new name so if we want to avoid it we can ,,, when elektra came out it went a little while before we were informed "publicly " that is was jc owned so the flavour design was similar , if your not in the loop you really cant find out , the email i got said this is not public knowledge which i dont agree with is all im saying , im sorry if your offended , i am not meaning to sound argumentative

Not offended and you don't sound argumentative AT ALL!

We certainly didn't purchase the recipes - I think that would be way beyond the means of most vendors.

Just sayin that it sounds - to me - like a single company purchased these and I'm thinking that it will be obvious when "who" is revealed.

It seems odd, that a vendor or 2 would buy the recipes & not aquire the rights to the name JC. JC in itself is worth money. It's a well known brand. There are no copyrights or licences involved, here & once the vendors have the recipes in their hands, anything is possible. We'll just have to wait see as to what happens.

They didn't though, from what I know. I've been talking with one vendor who acquired only a few of James' recipes and will be carrying them under their own brand. Furthermore from what they told me they are not allowed to say they are JC flavours, and if I understood their last E-Mail to me correctly, neither can someone like me come right out and say it, only imply it. I'll have to clarify that with them though.
