Who has a LEGACY..

and what do you think of it. Looking to buy something for my 1 yr. with no smokes
Don't know why I want this, I like the looks of it I guess. Thinking about the extension cap & a kick so I can use a 18650

I've had a mini since Christmas...it's a great mod. Solid construction and i love the button. I'm a big fan of mechanical mods because of the simplicity. No worrying about electronics failing or wires coming loose if it gets dropped.

I've got a Legacy with the 18650 extension and a Kick ... excellent mod, easy to maintain, very smooth button, easy to lock and easy to fire. With proper care and cleaning, this mod should last for years. I just recently got a Legacy Mini tube; using the same top cap and switch as the standard Legacy, I can quickly go into 18350 mode for a very stealthy out-and-about device! Recommended, for sure.

I got the Legacy with the extension for the kick.

It is nice, but just not as nice as I had hoped.

-The threads are not smooth, sort of has burrs
- There are some mild imperfections in the finish of the tube.
-The switch is not great. Not a real solid feel/sort of loose.
-The cap often loosens when trying to unlock the switch.
-wish it came with flat top so RBAs looked flush

But, positives
-full mechanical
- it is priced fairly for what it is.
-easy access to the kick (top comes off).
-very solid tube
-Looks good

Oh- and congrats on the 1 year!

I concur on the threads being a bit rough when new, but a good cleaning with warm water and Dawn detergent followed by a half hour's worth of elbow grease Noaloxing the threads in and out has made mine (as PBusardo would say) buttery, buttery smooth!

Maybe mine is abnormal but it when locked, the piece with the holes around it is loose and jiggles.

All in all though, for the price it is a good device. I think it was like $80 with a coupon. Not like it costs $200.

I bought one (Legacy Mini) through the classifieds the other day. I guess I don't count because it is not in hand yet. It sure looks nice

I have the 18650 standard legacy kicked w/extension and love it.The threads on mine were the same when i first recieved it and i cleaned it up and noaloxed them and now,smooth, no complaints.For an excellent small form factor mech. tube mod,you can't go wrong.The main problem that bugs the hell out of me now with mine.Everything i put on the connection is slanted to one side?I don't know how i got a crooked connector,but it is.

I have a legacy mini with a kick, and i love it...i have another mechanical mod (69) also with a kick, but I like the button on the legacy better, and I feel that it makes better contact than the 69...it looks fantastic...i'm not sure if it'll last all day, but i'll find out tomorrow
