Tasty vapor! Are you kidding me?
I can get a full oz of any nic level and buy a four oz bottle of the same flavor with a zero nic level!?
I didn't believe it when it was said earlier but for 30 bucks I have five ounces to use anyway I want! And he makes custom flavors too?
Now I know why everyone loves it so much.
One of my next questions was going to be about cutting since I'm gonna start with 24 mg. If that ends up too much(which I'm pretty sure it won't cuz everyone says its better to be higher when you start off so that you "get over the hump") then I was gonna lower the level to make it usable so I don't have to toss it or trade it. But tasty vapor makes that kinda idiot proof. I think I will start with them and then branch off to some of the others and try them.
Thanks everybody! This means so much to me. I will be sure the pass my knowledge along to the new generation when they ask questions.

Thanks everyone, I'm going to go check out some of those sites right now. Especially Tasty Vapor, everyone seems to think that's the best. I have heard a few things about Vapor4Life too. Anyone try those? They usually make Cartomizers but they sell juice also. Plus the are around Chicago which is where I'm at. Gotta give love to the locals too. I know that Cignot.com is around Chicago also, I've not heard too much about them except for the English toffee. I'm not a big fan of that flavor so I'm not gonna try that.
I've heard a lot of people like 555, and RY4. So I will probably try those and then branch off from there. So it's really true that everyone's flavors taste different? This one's 555 is not going to taste like that one's 555?

Congrats on your decision to convert to vaping! And a great choice to start off with Tasty Vapor for your juice! You will not be disappointed as we all can attest too! :) To answer your question above, the answer is yes. I am an RY4 fiend! lol I have purchased it from a few different vendors and not one tasted the same. Same mg of nicotine and VG/Pg mixes and still not the same. When you start looking for tobacco flavors such as RY4, 555 and Flue Cured, I would highly recommend DIYFlavorShack. DIY Flavor Shack by E-Cig Smoke Store They are temporarily closed right now due to the owner's health, but are expected to reopen around the 1st of April. Certainly, worth the wait. In the meantime, Happy Vaping and the best of success!

If you're new to ecigs I totally recommend Vapor4Life because unlike many juice vendors they still offer 5ml bottles so with the 10% discount they offer all of the time you're looking at $2.66 to try a flavor so you can try a TON of them without feeling too guilty.

Then as you start to figure out what kind of flavors you enjoy vaping (it's not always the same as what you enjoy eating - for example I love eating butterfinger but did not enjoy vaping Tasty Vapors Butterfinger now called Tastyfinger) then you can branch out.

So...Who makes the best RY4? What about 555?

Also, when I first started vaping I made the mistake of buying an e-cig kit from Red Dragon. Out of the first kit that I received, neither of the batteries worked so I had to mail them back and get my money back. Somewhere along the way they returned my money & returned an extra 2 batteries for their e-cig. What I thought was hilarious was that only ONE of those batteries even worked! However, I had one cartomizer left so I threw it on the battery that worked and vaped for a day, until the cartomizer ran out. The flavor I had was a sample they sent out with the original kit that I accidentally forgot to mail back but it was vanilla flavored so I thought I wouldn't enjoy it. It was so good that I was on the verge of calling them back to get another kit, just couldn't force myself to do it considering 3 of the 4 batteries I received were junk!

I've tried several vanilla flavored e-liquids with my old 901 and haven't liked a nare one of them . Anybody know of a good one that's out there? I heard Halo's Bella Vanilla is as good as it gets but from the looks of the message on their site they've been out of juice for a few days and it doesn't look they're going to be restocking anytime soon!

Dude, be warned about Halo's Bella Vanilla... everyone who mentions it leaves out one very important fact concerning this liquid... THE WHOLE NAME for instance... it's actually called Bella Vanilla CIGAR! I ruined a cart when an exchange buddy sent me a sample and forgot the last word...

After vaping it several times over several days, I can only say this... it tastes and smells like a mix of an old mans' aftershave and stale cigar smoke... and it's only redeeming quality is that it is the smokiest-tasting e-liquid I've ever encountered...

But barring that, I have no desire to vape something that makes me feel like I'm vaping an old Italian mafioso after a night of gambling, drinking and smoking...

Karl,

I disagree. Bella Vanilla isn't a straight vanilla flavor, this is true. But I've tried a lot of cigar and french pipe flavors looking for tobacco alternatives to flu-cured and the 555's. Bella Vanilla is by far the best cigar type flavor I've ever tried. It tastes just like a well flavored cigar with vanilla tones. If a good cigar isn't your thing, that's cool. But the flavor for those who like the occasional cigar is unmatched in my opinion.

It's not a daily vape but I go to it like one would a fine cognac for an after dinner treat. Great on a cold night by the fire. But it is not a straight french vanilla taste, no.

My 2 cents.

LOL. Thanks for the words of wisdom. Point very well taken!

I've been vaping Awesome Vapor's e-liquids for awhile now, especially since they started making 36 mg. bottles but I quite honestly haven't been impressed. I've tried several flavors and never really got a full taste out of any of them. It could, however, be because I've been using a 901 & there's a good chances my atty's have been blown out for quite some time.

I've never really put much thought into my e-cig of choice, so I just bought a kit and went to vaping. When the thing quit producing like it did the first 2 or 3 weeks I basically used it as an excuse that e-cigs don't work and went back to regular smokes. Trying to do a little research here and there this time around to make sure I find the best e-cig for my preference and make sure I replace my atty's/batteries as they start to go bad.

After Last night's social here I have learned of some new Great Juices:
ROcky Mountain Vapor (Specifically I liked Arvid's DK-Tab)
Mrs. T's Bakery (Arvidx had some Bacon Maple that I just HAD to try ~ it happened to be mixed with some of the DK-Tab in the atty and it ended up being a great mix! DK-Tab + Bacon Maple = pistachio flavor)
American E-Liquid (Mike lte me taste some of his stuff and this was good stuff ~ specifically I liked the Blackberry Champagne)
FreedomSmokeUsa (High quality liquid w/ several good flavors!)

i always get the bulk of my juice from Cletus over at mist-stix.com

if you use the discount code ECF u can get TWO 30mL bottles for 16.95 shipped,
and the juice aint that bad. His VG Hilton is my all day everyday vape, and i rock the PG Litchi when i want a fruity/floral flavor. YMMV but Cletus has the best prices ive found yet, quick shipping and tasty juice!

I should add that I'm not in any way trying to condemn Awesome Vapor. In fact, I just ordered another shipment of their e-liquid because they're one of the few places I've been able to find 36mg e-liquid and they're customer service is some of the best I've found. Like I said, I'm pretty sure most of my problems stemmed from having old atty's and batteries that no longer worked the way they should.

Looking forward to getting my 510 kit in (hopefully tomorrow!) and my 5V PT & getting back to vaping. I think my next step after that will be to order a eGo from Janty & getting some of the low ohm atty's to use with it!

I never said it was... but let's consider a couple of points:

1) The vaping flave expectation between vanilla and vanilla CIGAR are light years apart... and Halo has it plainly marked on their site... yet, on many posts on ECF... and... on a sample I got, everyone's calling it Bella Vanilla! It's just misleading on our part, not Halo's!

2) I swear to you that after vaping Bella Vanilla CIGAR for a couple of days, I shaved and slapped on some Gillette aftershave and what do you know... same smell/taste!

3) Who the heck inhales cigar smoke? I could see using this with an e-cigar or e-pipe, but for e-cig style vaping... not so much.

Like I was trying to say before... my problem isn't so much with the flavor, and definitely not with Halo (and anyone who knows what they used to get such an authentic, smoke-flave, let me know)... my problem is with the end-users who keep calling it a flavor that it's not... that's all...

Bella Vanilla CIGAR !

that bella vanilla cigar is one of the BEST mixers ive ever used. a few mL of that in a bottle of something else switched the flava up like WHOA. one of my fav mixes ive made with it is JC swiss dark/ JC wisconsin frost/ JC Domestic/ mist-stix PG Camel/ and Bella Vanilla Cigar.... it literally rocks my face every time, sooo tasty!!

Easy Karl... Easy... Just talking satisfying taste here. The full name is BELLA VANILLA CIGAR, but on Halo's website in their marketing photo it also lists it as BELLA VANILLA - A Premium Vanilla Cigar, so naturally people call it Bella Vanilla for short. I'm sure whoever goes to the site to order it can't miss the extra "Cigar" word when considering the order.

Now you've made yourself clear. In regards to the straight vanilla flavor I misspoke. You weren't referring to that but the previous posts had been asking about vanilla. Apologies... meant no offense.

Sorry man... seems as though I have some residual anger and frustration left over from being waylaid by this stuff... when I first vaped it, I was expecting some smooth-as-silk, vanilla flavor... but no... this stuff crashed into my mouth like a pack of Visigoth invaders and used my uvula for a punching bag! 8-o

Oh, and while I'm strictly a carto user, I'm just going to guess that you may want to have a dedicated atty for this stuff... cuz it's strong!

halo freedom juice (pg/vg mix)
american e liquid (for vg)
-english toffee
-tobacco
- blackberry champagne

I started on pg, but it was very irritating to my chest, and really dried my throat out, so now i mostly use vg (with the exception of halo, cause their stuff is just that good) Halo recommends, as do I, that first timers start with the freedom juice. Im not really into the sweet stuff, a lot of the juices others really love, like RY4 or any chocolate - I just couldnt vape. you'll find out pretty quick how opinions really differ very widely in this area!!
