I'm interested in getting an e-pipe. I have a Provari set-up that I puff on like a pipe. The Elitar looks interesting and I love ordering from MVS. Guess it's going into my Labor Day order.

It's decent. I favor the simple, utilitarian look in my hardware. I don't know anything really about the tank that they try to sell with it. I just got the device. It takes a single 18650. It is designed for a 22 mm tank. It goes to 75W. It has Wattage/Bypass/TC (nickel, SS, titanium, three TCR memory settings) modes. It has a decent screen that would go where the top of the bowl in a real pipe would be. The fire button is on the inside of the bend between the stem and the bowl. I find it comfortable to use there with my thumb. You have the option of installing a custom logo. Once the normal screen times out it will go to that logo for a while before finally going to black. The logo has to be a monochrome bitmap with specific pixel settings. I currently use a Batman symbol.

Oh yeah, using a TC tank on it (my old Horizon Tech Arctic V8 with a nickel atomizer) you really get a nice pipe feel. The device allows you to set the Wattage in TC mode. I like to put it at 23-25W and set it at 445-465 degrees (F) so I can puff on it and have it heat up like a real pipe.

Cowtown, USA. Where the West begins.
(Sigh). I keep meaning to build one. Saw a dude once with a natural briar custom rig: apple bowl, 45deg stem and a straight bit atop a SvoeMaesto KF Russian. That MTL tank would not be to my taste, but a Serpent SMM or a Merlin would go well up there. It'd be a 350 mech, but hey, I like 350 mechs :)

I'm not big on full size tanks, if I don't like the Elitar tank I'll see how the 18mm mini Buddha looks on it :)

All of mine happen to be 22 mm in diameter so it worked out well for me. I don't think a tank that was 18-20 mm would look all that odd on the thing. Mine is black though, and my tanks are black as well, so small mismatches in detail don't stand out.

The pipes are truly beautiful units. Makes me want to get one just to look at.

I have seen some stunningly beautiful e-pipes. The art and craftsmanship involved are superb. The only downside being that so many of them settle on smaller batteries, or built in batteries that have a lower capacity than what I want to settle for. I understand the allure of just relaxing for a brief period of time with a very nice pipe mod. But my tastes are too utilitarian too allow me to truly enjoy that. I want something that just works and has a nice form factor. As it turns out, that's also a rather inexpensive option. I have been taking my e-pipe to work this week because I bought a few tobacco flavors that I want to play around with and I can use my favorite MTL tank with it. I just swap the tank back to my dual box mod when I get home.

There are some nice 18650 and 18500 epipes available and with a .8Ω build an 18500 will make it most of the day, most notably at work where you can't chain vape :) . All the pipes I posted earlier in this thread are with 18500 or 18650.

One is always built sitting on my desk that I use when I'm on the computer.

The one I've got in my mouth at the moment takes 18500s. Usually with a Nautilus tank of some sort on it with either the 0.7Ω or 1.6Ω coils I find unless I'm hitting it particularly hard, I only change the battery once a day (it's barely out of my hand as it is)

I do use my pipe to MTL on a NaughtyX, but I also like using it for TC because it feels pipe-ish to me.

I have two Puma's and both are 18650's as well as a couple from the Pipesmith and ePm.

Ken (pipesmith) made this 18650 for me and it is one of my favorites although a use them all ;)

If you reach out for Matt at E-Pipe Mods I'm pretty sure he can set you up with an 18650 like Sludge's pipe.

Thanks Marc! I like the pipe, it is beautiful, but not very realistic (in my opinion), but it is only my opinion... As for the Puma's e-pipes, many, many of them made your (my) mouth watering! I will be an careful observer of his work, because they are wowww! Thanks a lot for advices, and hope I 'll have more from you!
An excellent and paceful day to all of you!!!
