Who here has polished their satin ProVari?

The satin's nice, but I like shiny things. Polished stainless steel is still my favourite finish.

I would like to polish mine, but hopefully I'd like to be able to do it without taking it apart and voiding the warranty. I just don't want to risk damaging the plastic screen at all, so if anyone's done this before, I'd love to know how you did it.

Pics would be great too! I still haven't seen a polished one yet.

Inspired by this thread, I took the Dremel to my scratched black chrome Provari. Here's the result:

Wow! It really came up nice! Did you just use a buffing wheel and various grits of polishing compound?

I used 800 grit paper to get the paint off, then used a dremel with a couple of felt wheels. First stage was the black compound, then the pink compound to get the mirror finish.
