Who here has polished their satin ProVari?

The satin's nice, but I like shiny things. Polished stainless steel is still my favourite finish.

I would like to polish mine, but hopefully I'd like to be able to do it without taking it apart and voiding the warranty. I just don't want to risk damaging the plastic screen at all, so if anyone's done this before, I'd love to know how you did it.

Pics would be great too! I still haven't seen a polished one yet.

I polished mine and I know for a fact provape honored the warranty when mine had an issue.

I liked the satin so well I got two of them, neither one polished. I've got a chrome ePower if I want something with finger prints. JMHO

I will say my polished one only shows finger prints right after I clean or re polish it. After a days use you can't see them

Inspired by this thread, I took the Dremel to my scratched black chrome Provari. Here's the result:

I used white cut and buff then some ss polish to make mine shine. Very simple and easy to do. I also used a dremel

I used 800 grit paper to get the paint off, then used a dremel with a couple of felt wheels. First stage was the black compound, then the pink compound to get the mirror finish.

is there a tiny tip for the dremel that would allow me to chrome out just the grip indentations on my satin? think that would look sweeeeeeet

You can buy a pointy felt wheel for the dremel JD. That's what I used to get in the grips.
