A relative youngster here at 45, though I have mastered a level of crankiness way beyond my years.

Not me.

I'm 46, drive a Mustang with an 1100 watt sound system and still stay up past midnight on work nights to play video games. For my daughter's 14th birthday I took her and a couple of her friends to indoor skydiving. I did that because it was too cold to go rock climbing which my daughter loves.

I'm not having a midlife crisis, I've just never grown up!

At 44 then 46 i felt like a youngster myself , i did everything i did during my 20's actually , wait till you hit 48+ , thats when you go straight down lol.

For me turning 40 was much harder to deal with than hitting the big 5 0 , nowadays i welcome death lol.

I'll be 49 in October. Sometimes I feel younger, but not as often as when I was, younger..

I was working for a landscaping company a while back. Those 20+ year old kids really made me feel old sometimes! I'm sure it was also due to my cig habit back then. If I was to go back there, I bet it would be a whole different story!

You appear to have completely misunderstood what I meant by crankiness. Sounds like you are having a midlife crisis though.

No midlife crisis, that's how I've always been.

A midlife crisis implies a change in my lifestyle, but that's never changed. I've always been this way. My wife has been with me for over 20 years and has finally decided that I'm never growing up. I've been rock climbing, racing, playing video games, playing loud music and all of the rest the entire time. That's just me being me.

    Me in another 35 years....
