As per wikipedia, many WHO-projects are public-private partnerships.

Like hyping a virus a few years ago for which their pals in BP just happened to have the right vaccine handy...

Now with a real serious threat like Ebola them's pretty much stuck in a rut. No vaccine, only an untested medicament. And of course just enough of it to help their own ilk...

Chances for an infected local to get treatment ? Zilch.

And they got nothing better to do than running propaganda campaign against e-cigs which is so full of lies that it makes North Korean state TV look like the fountain of truth in comparison.

Don't wanna blast the WHO wholesale, but I guess that they got their share of folks who are primarily concerned with the health of their Swiss bank accounts...
