The mail carrier delivered my Vapor King today. It was a surprise to me also because it wasn't delivered with my regular mail. Guess they are to many packages being delivered in my area, so the Post Office is sending a separate carrier for packages. :)

So, now I charged the batteries and tried it out and I have to say that I am definitely getting my nicotine fix, there is no doubt about that, but, (yea, there's a but) I am tasting a really weird "woodsy" taste. I am sure that it is just the "flavor" of my cart. and I will get used to it, it's just going to take some time I suppose.

Also, I remember reading somewhere that when you use a cart for the first time you might have to burn off something.....something......something..... I don't remember. Does this sound familiar to anyone or do you have any idea what I am talking about.

All in all though, I find it pretty pleasant.

Oh yea, and I took a friend to the airport so she could pick up a rental car and decided to try my PV in the airport. No one even looked twice in my direction.;)

Glad to hear it arrived! What flavors did you get? There have been a couple of recent threads about cartos with a burnt taste, so there may be a batch that wasn't filled fully or something. If you have some e-juice, try topping one off and see if the flavor improves. At any rate, best of luck, and enjoy!

They sent me 18mg Kamel and 16mg Virginia. Don't have any e juice yet but hoping that will be in the mailbox tomorrow or the next. I ordered it from strictly ejuice. A lot of folks here say it is pretty good. I kinda jumped the gun in not thinking ahead. I don't have any empty cartomizers!
Any idea where I can pick those up fairly inexpensively? Found a couple of places online but they all want $15-$17 just for shipping.8-o

You should be able to just rinse out a used carto with hot water to re-use it (some folks give them a little soak in vodka or Everclear, too) and refill it. I have heard that menthol and mint flavors are difficult to remove, so you should refill them with the same flavors. If you're refilling a carto with the same flavor, rinsing isn't really necessary - I have some that I've been just refilling daily for going on 3 weeks - I do wipe them down with some rubbing alcohol just to keep them clean. I have bought my blank cartos from Vapor4Life, but other vendors like Nhaler sell them also. You can probably get them a little cheaper from a place like eastmall if you order enough to make up for the shipping.

Hmm, "woodsy" taste? I'd suggest popping it open and checking to see if it's properly filled. Sometimes they aren't, and you might be burning the filler. And definitely try your hand at refilling them... I've refilled mine constantly with little to no adverse effects on performance...
Not sure exactly what I'm looking for. How will I know if it is not properly filled?

The white filler material will appear dry. Ideally it should be moist, but not flooded. And don't blow the juice out; you need it in there, especially if you don't have any e-liquid on hand :D

EDIT: You have to exercise a bit more caution with cartomizers... once you've vaped them dry and they burn, it's generally time to toss them. I would suggest rotating several throughout a day, and refilling a bunch of them at a time.

Thanks. They do appear moist and I will try not to blow my juice out. Like I said, not sure why I did that, I just did. But when I seen all the liquid that was coming out, I just thought that it wasn't supposed to do that. Man, it's all over my laptop keyboard.8-o

LOL... put that one aside until your liquid arrives :p

Can I rinse my cart. out if they still have juice in them? Since I don't have any empty ones, I was thinking maybe I can just "make one empty".......

Sure you can. I do that when I have a flavor I'm not wild about. Rinse under hot running water and blow it out a few times to be sure that you've removed all of the e-juice. Then blow it out to dry it, using a paper towel or a tissue on the battery end so you'll know when it's really dry. Some people let it sit overnight to be sure it's dry, but I don't bother.

The first couple carts I got I vaped a little to dry, you get to the point when you recognize when a cart is getting dry. There is a learning curve, but they are cheap enough. I've gotten a few bottles of juice from StrictlyEJuice, most have been very tasty, and you can't beat the price.

But the carts from V4L are usually fantastic. Unfortunately some flavors are custom only to them, and they don't carry juice to match all their carts YET. But one thing you can say about V4L, they just keep getting better!
