It could be a variety of reasons. Your atty may be flooded. If you have too much liquid in there, it can act as a stopper and reduce vapor. With higher PG juices, you might notice lower vapor. In most cases, the higher VG the higher the vapor level. Also your battery power may make a difference. If you are using a standard 510 batty, the vapor output may be lower. (think about powering a car.. lower horse power.. less 'umph')

Plus.. to be honest.. I've seen some of the vids, and although I know they are vaping, you can make it LOOK like there is more vapor, just by the way you inhale, etc. If you hold in your 'drag' longer, you will get less vapor, amoung other things.

I have a 510 unit, when I see videos on YouTube about the 510 they get massive vapor , my vapor is OK but not huge like that ? My atomizer is clean , using 80/20 or 70-30 juice, so why the difference ?

More VG = More Vapor. I use 40:60 PG to VG with a eGo XL atty and it makes Fog.

People in videos will sometimes use 100% VG so that the vapor is more visable. 100% will make Huge vapor but not much TH or Flavor.

I ordered a 510 kit with 100% PG liquid. I noticed one e-cig produced less vapor than the other. I ordered another battery and atomizer, this time in pink. Holy vapor!! Same liquid used in all three. It's the differences in atomizers. One atomizer seems to have virtually no wick when I look inside and that is the one that produces the least vapor. :(
