Tried a sample of Virgin Vapors 100% VG to see if it was the PG that was bothering me, and had serious wicking issues and horrible taste. I don't think I can enjoy pure VG... HELP! )

Thanks in advance everyone!

I just had to touch on your unfortunate experience with Virgin Vapors 100% VG. First they probably had an alcohol smell -- you have to take off the lid for a day or two and let that evaporate. Second, you really have to "age" (steep) their juice...I mean for 2 or 3 weeks before you can get the full benefit of the flavor. I have a 510 battery with a bridgeless atomizer, and use it to sample new flavors. Works extremely well, love the bridgeless design since you just drip right into it (3 or 4 drops). Put on a drip tip and vape away...if it tastes flavorless or terrible just put the cap on the bottle and stick it in a drawer for 2 or 3 weeks, then try it again. You may be surprised. These atomizers are really wonderful to test and to change flavors...just blow, burn, and add in the new flavor. I always use them so I can test new flavors from "sample packs" (great way to save money when looking for the right juice).

btw...I use only 70% to 100% VG and I don't care for VVapor flavors, just my opinion. If you want to try higher VG juice here is a great thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-liquid-discussion/478943-your-top-100-vg-juice.html

Hope this helps and best of luck with the exhaustion.

Wow definitely did not know that about nicotine dual effect !! Looks like I'll have to try some higher nic juices. Kind of scared of the 18mg, I tried it once and the throat hit killed me! haha. I wish they put out juice in the 14-15mg range, and I guess with 18mg's I'll have to cut some of my chain vaping habits. Good point on the exercise too.. I used to work out all the time a couple years ago and even as a smoker, I had so much energy and felt soo much better. It's just kinda tough finding the motivation to get back in the gym when you feel like this. Thanks again, everyone. My next juice order will include some 18mg to test this out!

Creepylady - Not offended at all! I would totally think the same if I wasn't experiencing it first hand.. and maybe I will go have some tests done if it persists, couldn't hurt.

You could always order some higher ratio VG:
Juice Components
Flavoring usually about 5- 15%- could be higher or lower depending on the flavor used.
PG enhances flavor, TH and lung hit- water like - many of us believe PG to be a throat irritant.
VG= vapor and can mute flavor- thick
Nicotine- TH, lung hit and our need for nicotine. The MOST important ingredient in regards to TH and lung hit.
Standards in the industry are 80/ 20 or 70/ 30 PG/ VG.
Many vapers are now moving towards 50/ 50 PG/ VG as it's a less harsh and smoother vape. As for nic levels I smoked 1 1/2 PAD and began at 36 mg X 50- 60 ml per day.
Aside from the third ear I grew no real harm done

I also ALWAYS encourage new vapers to see their Dr. Very rare that a Dr. is not happy to see their client quit smoking.

Yeah that's exactly what it was - like a very potent perfumey alcohol note & I actually did let them steep for a week or 2, not with cap off though. It's crazy because I heard such great things about them and their flavors looked sooo good.. I think because it's organic, they use an alcohol base. Many people love their flavors but I'm definitely not a fan, and it's unfortunate because this was the first all VG juice I tried, so had the impression they are all going to be like that. I'll have to try my favorites in 100% vg and see how that is now :)

Let them sit for a day or two with the caps off, that will let the alcohol evaporate. Also shake the bottle for 5 to 10 seconds before you fill your tank.

I'm a new to vaping, just a couple weeks. I'm definitely having headaches, dehydration and fatigue. I was a light smoker (only a couple a day) so vaping is great for me. These side effects suck though.

How much are you vaping every day, and what nicotine strength? Maybe you are vaping too much, compared to what amount of nicotine your body is used to?

I found that i was sleepy during the first about 2 weeks one contributing factor was obviously the lack of all the other chemicals analogues give you, had originally vaped 24mg found that it was far too strong and just tasted rank, i now use 12mg sometimes using a 24mg and just 50/50 it with VG so as to add a bit more consistency as not very fond of thin liquids.

Well it seems you are going to get conflicting advice here, but at least you can try different things as a result.

I almost gave up vaping first 2 months due to exhaustion. I could not believe how tired i was.

I lowered my nic from 18 to 12, and went to higher VG, and increased my water intake, and it went away.

That said, I would see doctor. Before I began vaping, I had a massive blood panels done, including lipids, thyroid screen, etc., as well as an EKG, full lung X-rays, blood sugar, blood pressure, and some other metabolic profiles....... So that I would have a "baseline" on record.

We have done these a 2nd time, and plan on doing them again soon. (My data is not for sale, but I do plan to share it with a few people who have scientific backgrounds at some point, and who will not "politicize" the findings in any way).

My reasons for doing the baseline profiles, on the advice of my doctor, is so that we could show what vaping did or didn't do to / for me, and what things changed for the worse or better over a 2 year period in "my" body.

You said you are drinking a gallon of water or more per day, plus taking a diuretic? That could dehydrate you and cause fatigue. Are the diuretics prescribed? Or you just taking over the counter stuff?

In addition to simple dehydration, you could be lacking sodium, which also happens to those who drink lots of water. Your electrolytes may be ultra low as a result.

My advice: Replace some of your water with Gatorade, and unless they are prescribed, lay off the diuretics.
