Unless you have a EZ Dripper then it's ok to drip and drive. It make dripping and driving a lot safer.

I'm a chain vaping truck driver so I have fallen in love with squonking.

Don't drip and drive. SQUONK

You'll hear most, if not all, of us here say over and over, vape how YOU want, and don't worry about how others are vaping or what they might say about the way you vape. I'm one of those people who uses both low power and high power mods, depending on what mood I'm in. But I do understand the appeal of higher power, because for me, the vape from a high power mod is intense, and adds to the experience. But this is just me. Not everyone likes a high power vape, and that's OK.

I had a guy at a Vape Shop asking why I need a 200 Watt MOD when I vape with a Nautilus Mini and my answer was simply that is right now while out driving. Next time I decided to blow a giant cloud in the doorway so I could make a spectacular entrance with that same MOD. Just for effect............ For me High Wattage is basically only in TC Mode but I do fire the Baby Beast at 30W.

I wouldn't care about anybody else's opinion on trivial things like vaping wattage.

If you do care. Learn your gear inside out and explain in detail to them the benefits of a cooler, longer drag.
Battery life, juice consumption, flavour etc...
Go higher end and begin explaining heat flux, the surface area of your choice of gauge, heat distribution and why you need a particular setting to achieve your vaping desire.

If it was me though, 'I don't care about your opinion. This is what I like :pervy:'

Just turn it down ;)

At least with all my friends I know, they all insist I vape at 120W minimum or ideally 150W...but everytime I vape it just get's so warm, they all vape extremely warm and I don't get it, a good 50-70W is perfect for me, and they want me to do 150W with an RDA I just find it crazy

it's called peer pressure ... don't fall for it

I vape how it suits me, and generally speaking see high wattage vaping the same way I see savory desserts, or any of the other numerous and strange tastes that have measures of popularity. I do me, they do them. (Although this doesn't stop me from sometimes looking at their tastes as rather oxymoronic at times.. or just weird...lol)

My only concern, and dislike of these high wattage vapers is that it's noticeably changing the vaping industry as a whole in effort to protect them from themselves; it's pushing vaping for smoking cessation very nearly right out of the market. Higher nicotine level e juice is harder every day to find.. finding quality low wattage devices are fewer and farther in between, the entire market is gearing itself, slowly but surely, toward this one group and the rest of us who simply want to stop smoking and stay off the smokes are beginning to be left in the dust.

Sometimes, I resent the higher wattage vapors for that, as they make the industry and vaping in general seem dangerous, when instead it's life saving.. because of them, more and more are afraid to try vaping for smoking cessation, because all they see are the (ignorant) high wattage disasters, and our good life saving stories get pushed aside and ignored..

So, while I see it as a choice, albeit sometimes one that is more immature, or oxymoronic or just simply weird, I do sometimes resent what it's doing to the market..

I do wish live and let live, meant that their choices didn't negatively affect my choices.. but they are plain and simple. And the why, I cannot begin to understand.

My wife and I began to vape to quit smoking and it worked just fine with a 1.8ohm CE4 clearo. I just took vaping from a quit smoking thing into a hobby to get the best out of what I had for gear. I never had a need to impress anybody so why would I have to vape ultra low ohm builds or at 200 watts. I have the gear and knowledge too and have tried but all I did was get a hot vape, burn my throat and unhappy so I never found the satisfaction and never did it again. My wife after 4 years still vapes 1.6-1.8 ohm at 12 watts but I have lowered my builds to @1.0ohm and rarely go over 20 watts and we're happy. Its the uneducated yuppies greed for trying to outdo the next guy that destroying vaping for all of us and the market thats pushing out these kind of hitters that are over powered, giving the new vaper the wrong idea of what vaping was really meant to do....aid you to quit smoking.

Youll hear most experienced vapers advising you educate yourself on exactly how your gear works.

Use your head.
You are shoving a device with high discharge batteries in your mouth.
Apathy is very dangerous.

High powered devices are required to fire the massive chunks of metal used in artsy coils.
They are pretty, but they dont perform better than single or parallel coils, yet require massive power to eliminate long ramp up times.

Know your gear.
You'll get a far better vape.

More power doesn't equal more performance.

Believe it or not, many vapers who you may consider "high wattage" are also vaping to stay off the smokes. I have seen this attitude many times in these forums, and I could never understand why some people think that to stop smoking, or to keep from smoking, you should be vaping either MTL, or at lower wattages. I would be considered a high wattage vaper by most, but I can tell you that after 36 years of cigarettes, high wattage vaping is what keeps me from smoking, and I am not the only one.

Guess which one is faster?

Top end???
They're probably pretty close.
The bike corners better, and accelerates harder out of those corners.
Laps around the Mid-Ohio sports car course, or Laguna Seca???
My money is on the two wheeler

My go to device is a Sigelei 213 with an Aspire Cleito I use the 0.4 ohm factory coils, and STAY in the 50-60 watt range.
Sometimes I feel like the guy who drives a Corvette on his daily commute. WAY more power than I'll ever be able use, but it IS a very nice toy.

;)

In any real world scenario, the bike will smoke the Camaro with a fraction of the horsepower.
There's alot more to performance than raw power.

I only advocate knowledge, which will help vapers understand how to get the most out of their gear.
Im not a MTL vaper.
Im not a "low wattage" vaper.
I vape to stay off cigs.
I build around .29ish ohms which is just under 50w on a mechanical with appropriate batteries.
Single strand coils.
Not exactly low, but not what I consider high wattage vaping in this age of 300w devices.

In my experience, most vapers could get alot more/better performance from their gear if they understood how it works, as opposed to slapping a ton of fancy wire and throwing 100+watts at it just to make it work.

Depends, do they both have adequate fuel? Is the motorcycle rider a 500lb gorilla? faster in what conditions? what about in the rain? are we talking about ramp up time? :D
