Why are certain flavours banned from CA?

Yeah, no kidding. And now that technology is at a stage where products for vaping are available to us, there is paranoia about that. Why should the government get involved in preventing kids from vaping? Where is the responsibility of parents to educate and protect their kids? I think that any aid in helping people who choose to quit or at least reduce their analog intake is a good thing. The last time I quit, I was hooked on tangerines as a substitute, LOL. There was something about the taste of oranges or tangerines that staved off my cravings for nicotine.

Ahhh well. Sorry about the rant. I shall continue to research the various vaping products out there from local vendors.

Thanks, Missinglink. I will give Riva Lite a try. I'm still so new to all this- I'm still trying to sort out the various vendors and supplies. It's so confusing because there is so much information out there to digest at this point, but that's a good thing :D

Definitely look it over. One thing to remember what's good for me, may not fit your needs, and everyone will tell you, vaping is very subjective. Look around, find what fits your lifestyle, habits, and preferences. EDIT: Oh, and budget! :D

I definitely enjoy my Riva though. Been using it almost 2 weeks now. I've had like five analogs in that time. (All occasions where due to the fact that my battery had died and I hadn't brought a backup.)

The first community stop smoking clinics I went to were sponsered by the /Seventh Day Adventist church groups. They advised eating and or drinking oj whenever the craving struck. Today we vape it (citrus) in one flavor or another, and they are all dead set against it. The authorities miss their taxes. Maybe the 7th calvary needs to be informed of how the officials are contradicting and defeating their progress in the fight against cigarettes.

That's all I did every other time I quit smoking, and I would gain no less than 40lbs every single time! Vaping has allowed me to quit without replacing it with the eating habit. The only reason I've gained weight is because of the steroids I've been taking. Now that I've been able to stop those, I should be able to start losing weight again!

Colorado is trying so hard to be another California with all the bans on this, that and every other thing that only a handful of people don't like. Law makers have tried on a couple of occasions to ban smoking outdoors and in apartments. Thankfully, most of them have been voted down, but they keep cropping up from time to time. Boulder is the only city here (that I know of) which actually has a ban on indoor smoking in apartments. They also have a ban on outdoor smoking on the Pearl Street Mall, but I've never seen it enforced. I think the cops have better things to do than ticket someone for doing something that's still technically legal.
