Why are Fasttech's prices so very unimpressive lately? If USA sellers on EBay have the same prices, then what's the point?

Face down in the gutter, USA
It likely has less to do with FT's pricing policy/changes and more to do with FT's/similar sites rapid increase in popularity placing downward pressure on the average pricing the market.

In other words people couldn't get away with massive price gouging anymore (or at least as easily), and many realized the Walmart model works just as well. ($10 profit x 1000 = 1$ profit x 10,000)

We also should keep in mind that as Americans, we tend to take for granted that we have VERY easy access to A LOT of vape gear/competitive prices, which may not be the case in other areas around the world.

eBay can be a total crapshoot. If you are shopping price only and don't pay attention you could end up buying second (or third) rate merchandise from an eBay seller that's only been there all of a few months and ends up getting shut down for complaints about merchandise quality or misrepresentations. It happens. Just because it's on eBay and it's cheap doesn't necessarily mean there is a point to buying it. (And no, you cannot get genuine AW batteries on either FastTech or eBay...)

Fasttech is better for some things, and eBay is better for others. Those $5 plastic tanks for Kayfuns that you can find in eBay are a $1 something on Fasttech. I found a Heron clone on Fasttech, but not on eBay. For the actual Kayfun clones though, I prefer eBay, even if it's more. I like the Ehpro Kayfuns best, and at least on eBay I'm relatively sure on the manufacturer and can order from sellers with the highest ratings with well known reputations.

One should always shop, compare and make a well educated decision when purchasing.

Ebay Dealers are backing down prices due to the large competitive structure of our little nich. Not only do they have to contend with China but with an ever growing Seller Base on Ebay itself. Inventory that just sits is a loss.

I have 2 nice(very nice) KLF+ Black Editions I purchased off ebay. ($49.99ea at the time)
I have since purchased 4 additional Kayfun lites from Fasttech for just over the cost of (1) B.E.
All are very nice Kayfuns - lesson learned :D

**Always Compare pricing elsewhere when looking on Ebay many sellers are actually Resellers buying from the same sources you can use.

You're not saying that every single AW battery on Ebay is fake are you?

I was going to order a bunch of stuff(another Vamo, batteries, a Kanger AT Mega for my sis, etc), so I went to Fasttech but before I clicked the order button, I checked out EBay and the prices from USA sellers are about the same, so what's the point of waiting 3-4 weeks to get your stuff from FT?
How many sellers on Ebay offer a 6 month return for replacement warranty ?

Like some posters mentioned, I believe it's because the sellers on eBay know they can't move their products if they priced them MUCH higher than what you can get from Fasttech.

18 months ago, when I started out, prices were exorbitant. When Fasttech started selling more vape related stuff at a much lower price than what others were n charging, I noticed that other vendors started lowering prices. That's just my impression. Might be true, or it might not.

Fasttech is the place to buy for many items because no one can touch their prices even today but they are not the place to buy for everything.

Walmart used to have considerably lower prices as well , their clearance section really used to be clearance and things that were priced at $20.00 could be had for under $10.00 but now the $20.00 item is on clearance for $19.00 , wow thanks.

With fasttech, you get to read reviews, and discussions on what you are buying. With ebay, you really just trust the seller.

Their reviews are worthless, just like DealExtreme. The popularity of the item is probably a better indicator of whether the item is good or not. I remember when I bought some protank replacement glass, a few reviews said the glass was NOT painted, a week after I got them, they started peeling, which makes you wonder why any legit review would state something that's not true.
