why are these 14500 different sizes??

the 14500's i received today are longer then all the ones ive received in the past. is this a mistake i made in the order? their both ultrafire 14500 900mah 3.6v, just one is about an 1/8th of an inch longer then the other.... how can i avoid this
in the future?

i feel like a total idiot!!!!!! i just read the description closer in the listing where i bought the larger batt's and it says in the description that these batteries are slightly larger then normal. Being a guy, i tend to lack the ability to read directions/descriptions thoroughly!! wow, i feel like a complete dumb a#$!!! just sent an apology email to the vendor, since i sent one earlier asking if they would allow me to return them!! LESSON LEARNED!!

That is why a lot of folks have now switched to AW cells for consistency, whether LI Ion or IMR. Many mfrs have switched because of the problem you described, myself included. However I was an AW cell user prior to manufacturing, once again for what you described.
