Why are things so sticky

Just picked up 454 big block rda
Y in the world is this thing so sticky the airflow is impossible to move and the drip tip wont come out

As of now im running a dual coil build that the beautiful girl working the counter was nice enough to build for me despite me asking for wicks and wire that never made it into my bag but they didn't get rug up so eh no problem
I guess my question is wats is a solution to this problem

While I don't have a 454 yet, most adjustable airflow rda's I have tried were a little stiff at first. As time goes along they seem to turn easier or my fingers get stronger

Did you wash it? Mystery chemical from production could be causing some stickiness.

I usually lube up my tip abit, with liquid, before inserting it into place.

Edit: Damn, that sounded so wrong, on so many levels. But you should get my drift.

Lube them orings work it for a little bit. I use mine on the daily and it was stiff the first couple days now its no problem. I will say the two orings on the base are still stiff, like they should be the thing should not fly apart.

Thanks i think i read ti wash it for to rid of the machine oil but that totally slipped my mind lol im guessing a lil soap n water or use alcohol?
