I personally think much ado has been made over something that much ado should not be made over. A tiny handful of folks (1 or 2 folks I think) that worked in the buttered microwave popcorn industry got sick so now everyone on the planet is having to pay for it. Tell me, does that sound right to anyone. I loved my buttered microwave popcorn. Can't even eat it now because it now has veg, oil on it.

Put it on the label, OK. But don't just take it away from the ones that aren't concerned at all. I DIY all my juice and use the good tasting flavorings. If they have what some are freaking out over, so be it. Just please, don't insist that we must all conform because it MIGHT be a problem for one or two, out of millions. JMHO

I don't know how to link but the recording of the podcast should be up if you google it. I didn't hear him mention the popcorn lung but does have an impact on the lungs. I don't believe in removing from the market just let us know what's in it. I may decide to buy it or not. So many vendors say it doesn't contain it but they do. I wish nicoticket would put out testing. I know it contains ap and admire their honesty but would really like to know how high before I purchase again. I drink soda with aspartame which is horrible but I'm informed and chose to take that risk

popcorn lung is an issue.the problem is the only ones getting
popcorn lung work in the food industry. namely microwave
popcorn and 2 at a coffee roasting plant.less than 30 in the USA ever.
that's not even statistically relevant.its the equivalent of saying 1 person
got sick riding on a bumpy road. lets ban bumpy roads or put warning
labels on them.

I think I would disagree with that!
Smoking is the leading cause of Emphysema (Bronchiolitis obliterans), and after over 50 years of smoking will no doubt be the cause of my demise.
Emphysema and Bronchiolitis obliterans are two different diseases.

AMEN!!! Sorry to say that we live in a nanny state that makes such stupid laws and legislation because of a few isolated incidents. Common sense is no longer possessed by the majority in this country anymore. Just read the warning labels on some products. Some are common sense (kind of countering my own argument here ) but some are just idiotic. Why you ask? The reason these idiotic warnings are placed on some products is become someone at the back of the evolution line actually did it and, therefore, it forced the manufacturers to place said warnings on the products. Just check out some of these warnings, you'll be amazed and get a good laugh or two I'm sure Dumb Warnings

The ridiculous warnings aren't necessarily there because someone did something, or even might do something stupid. The ridiculous warnings are there because we live in a sue-happy society, and it's only so long before some jackass tries to sue a silverware manufacturer because "nowhere on that fork or its packaging does it say not to jam it into the electrical socket, so how was I supposed to know it was dangerous?" Fire is hot, water is wet; don't say we didn't warn you, and all that cal. Car exhaust contains carbon monoxide, and playing in traffic may be hazardous to your health.

do you have a link to that podcast or a printed copy of it?
    mike

The podcast is not safe for work, any link would be removed.

Search iTunes or Soundcloud for: VP Live (or Click Bang) Lab Tests For Hundreds Of e-Liquids Were Posted By vaporshark And The Results Are Not Pretty.

    Dr. F. starts at 47:00

A couple of reasons imo... First, the jury is still out on whether the levels of diketones we are vaping are even dangerous (cigarettes contain 100X higher concentrations of diacetyl apparently, and no one has ever reported getting popcorn lung directly as a result form the diacetyl on cigarettes).

Dr. F suggests those who subohm direct to lung at 10ml/day with 1500 ppm of diacetyl in some of the juices sold by Vaporshark could be exposed to over 10x the amount of diacetyl than cigarette smokers.

He goes on to suggest that perhaps popcorn lung might not be detected in smokers because of all of the other additives in cigarettes that could hide the diagnosys in favor of emphysema or bronchitis.
