What's the point of having the hole in the connector if it's a manual battery? I'm thinking it's a money saving thing. They don't want to remake connectors that are sealed when they can just use the ones with the hole. I have a pretty new manual battery for a 401 that just stopped working and I'm guessing it got full of liquid that killed the switch and would not have happened had the end been sealed. I'm thinking on my next one I'm going to seal it myself with a drop of solder. Thoughts?
