Why can't I create a signature in my profile??

I am still new here, and I'm not permitted to create a signature in my profile. When does this option become available to me so I can add a banner without pasting code? Thanks.

yes, but I manually pasted the code to my post. I don't have a signature setting in my control panel to have it automatically added.

Settings>General Settings go down to "thread display options"

Ok that threw me off thought it was working. Just have to do what duck said it is in your settings in the left hand column. Should work you have more then enough posts to add one.

Thanks guys. I see the 'edit signature' in my profile now. It didn't get added right away when my status was upgraded to 'full member', so I thought maybe I needed a more senior status here. Have a good weekend!
