Why can't I open a large thread?

If a thread has a large amount of replies such as Reo Lounge or Old Folks and vaping
I get error messages
Tried three different browsers
Tried opening in now page etc

I can get into it just fine. But extremely large threads can be problematic if you are have a slow connection day or if the servers are heavily loaded. Perhaps its time for them to close the thread and start Part 3

Good to see you are a CASAA supporter, have you thought about putting this in your sig?

Or maybe even better, try to help others start a CAN consumer group? This is what is really needed there with the problems being experienced.
