My primary reason was to save money. I used to smoke analog about 1 1/2 packs per day. That's around 1 carton a week, four carton a week = $200 per month. However, after I started vaping I bought 3 ecig kits, 10 30mg ejuice, the prodigy and now the GG Grant and thats within 1 month periord. At this point i'm -320. I should have kept smoking analogs:p

What are some of your reasons to start vaping?

I heard about it from a talk radio host in my area, I have been listening to her try to quit for over 4 years. She said this was working for her so I thought I would give it a try. I have not had an analog since the day I opened my first e-cig

Congrats I know so many of us have similar stories to tell :)

Me and Crash started vaping because we wanted a new and intriguing way to pick up girls at bars and clubs ... So far he is beating me by .... 100. Damn you crash! Not only did he steal the girl I was hitting on, but he got on her cell phone and picked up her mom too. Dude got skillzzzzzzzzzz 8-o

haha i think i almost fell out of my chair laughing when i read this. I used to have a couple of friends in texas, crystal and trish, and their mom was well lets just MILF lol and eh she used to have back pains so one day all of us were in the living room, and i was giving her a back massage (she was on her stomach and i was sitting on her bum) any way her husband walked in he wasn't too happy. A week later his truck "accidently" backed into my cougar.

Hey Christena I know the GG is a pretty heavy investment, but since you haven't owned any big mods yet might I recommend you buy something slightly cheaper, and if you like that, then go for the GG.

thanx 4 the advice crash which 1 do u think 1st? I wanna keep savin the dosh a bit which is y I am baping now but I dont wanna go back 2 my 901 which is dusty in a drawer n not as good as my titan

http://www.e-cigcity.co.uk/epages/es120919.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/es120919_shop/Products/"Torch%20Vape%20Blue" check this out its cheap and it'll give you an idea of how a mod works, and then the gg could be the next step if you like it. There is no point in you buying a expensive mod thats meant to last years only to find out its not for you.

i've talked to garry a few times he's a great guy, and i myself tend to sing tw praises at times. just send him an email and he'll tell you when its back in stock, they go really fast though :) and yes owning a mod is very different to a e-cig in my opinion

I used to a number of years back ... anything from a half pack to four packs a day depending on when. I always had severe sleeping disorders and nicotine was the only thing I found that let me live a normal life (i.e. not constantly sleepwalking, having bouts of narcolepsy, etc.). I quit for a number of years, but found that my sleep regulation was once again getting out of control so instead of going back to smoking (which I always considered a bad thing because of the damage I knew it was doing to me) I started snusing instead. This worked extremely well, but I found myself getting more nicotine than I wanted, so here I am. Snus still has its place for me (like when at work when I need an invisible, slow release, non-interactive nicotine fix), but for home and around-town use I prefer vaping.

The reason I'm at the GG specifically is for the AFS when it comes out. Granted, Imeo has a very slick product, and one that I'm confident will last a very long time, but by itself it isn't really a standout among the other higher volt mods except in its good looks (example: the AdapteveR does most of the same things the GGT does at half the cost, but in my opinion it is one ugly mod and not one I'd be comfortable using in public). What makes or breaks this mod in my mind is the AFS and high voltage atomizers that he will be releasing soon, and this is why I ordered one. My feeling is that the constant cartridge topping of the e-cig is its biggest sore spot: I want a system I can fill once a day and be done with without having to mess around with messy carts.

I truly hope Imeo meets his projected ship date of less than one month with the AFS and his atomizers ... I have a feeling that once I have these in hand I'll be one truly happy vaper.

Hey Crash you can answer a question for me then. Not recieved them yet but which way do the batteries go in that Mod?

Oooops, i started vaping because i felt like sh*t everyday and because i wanted to see my 2 year old grow up!

Actually I'm not sure I was going to ask Imeo because I'm aware they're 3 different set ups for the ggt, i think the positive end is meant to be towards the bottom, but i'd really like it if he could confirm that.

I'd say I did it for mainly health for reasons - but anyway you do it- if you succeed in cutting out analogs you are making a fairly substantial investment into e-cigs over startup costs. You realise this investment within a couple of months (if you smoked 20+ a day) provided you make the initial first investment choice over buying something which is durable and doesn't have expensive running costs (i.e. by avoiding devices with bespoke batteries ).

I think I'm there now, but I suppose I will get tempted by AFS and Sakis' atties and so you see how further investment can trickle along before you start seeing financial gains.

I've now bought 3 high end PVs within 15 weeks
I-inhale (I-olite)
GG Grant
GG Trans

I know people generally recommend trying a cheaper e-cig to get started. I'm not entirely convinced this is the right way. I know of several people who bought low end e-cigs and weren't impressed and went back to analogs pretty quick.

There's always resale of a high end PV if it really isn't for you. People must see that demand is outstripping supply with the GG so you would get your investment back.

Sakis have you thought of getting your kids building these things to up supply (tell them they have to earn their pocket money)? <w>

I've more than broken even.. but I was smoking between 20-30 a day.

I agree with you we should put our health above all things, regardless of the fact that e-smoking might cost more or less then analogs
