Why didn't I find this site earlier!!!!!

Just found this great Forum by chance and joined up straight away! Just what I was looking for!

I found out about e-cigs from a friend that was using them. I couldn't find out much about them as this was about a year ago. I found some on Amazon and made a purchase... Initially I was very impressed and used them for about 3 weeks. Then found that the things would not charge properly and were not very good quality at all.

So here I am, back on 40 a day and desperate to start vaping! I have not got a clue as to all the different products available to me in the UK and am a bit confused regarding the names of things...

Can anyone recommend a decent lot of products? I want to start with something that is going to last me etc.

Many thanks

Ivan

Yo, glad I came on, it's not that often I see someone else from the UK.

Glad you at least know vaping is for you so I can just get straight to the point.

There's two amazing deals I'd like to draw to your attention:

Ego/Riva Starter Kit XL - Detailed item view - FreedomVape (UK) JAN15 for 15% off making this £29 with free shipping for a 1100mah ego which is insanely cheap. If anyone can find this cheaper I'd say they were lying lol we've been recommending this deal on another forum for uk-ers this whole month because it's seriously good for how much you're saving on this one.

Also, if you don't want a fat battery (though, honestly the 1100 mah ego is the way to go for durability and lastability) you should check out this while it's on sale:

http://www...........co.uk/Intro_Vapour_PRO/p705283_4307948.aspx (use "allaboute" for 10% off)

£14 for a kr808 kit is wow. Get it while it's hot :2cool: I've tried this kit personally. It feels cheap but the draw on it is amazingly light. A very nice automatic battery that's worth its £14 price tag. I would recommend this if you want a cig lookalike, and if you can afford it, I would get both the 1100 ego and the kr808 here for when you don't want the bigger battery (going out to the pub etc).

For cartomsiers, on the ego one, do yourself a flavour and use these: Boge 510 Low Resistance (5) £5.79 - Vaping Spares - Cartomisers Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid ("allabout" for 10% off)

And for the kr808d-1 I'd say please, use these: 5 pack of blank/empty V3 cartomisers - V3 Cartomisers by JAC Vapour Ltd ("ECR69" for a discount)

I used them on the kr808 and yeah, great match, well worth the extra £1 but you get them at I think 10% off with that code so they're reasonably priced.

For juice... I think freedomvape is more than reasonably priced especially with the pick n' pix option with the 15% off right now. BUT, these guys are selling dekang, £10 for 50ml which is seriosly wow: Fuel (eLiquid, SmokeJuice) - Items - www.vapourworld.co.uk

Here is a list of uk vendors if you want to shop around: ALL ABOUT E-CIGARETTES UK - Recommended & new suppliers list

Good luck out there and I'm going to be around if you need any more help :)

Edit: sorry for blasting you with lingo... for your reference the 1100mah ego means you'd get about 10 - 11 hours of use between charges out of one battery as you use about 100 - 120mah per hour of use. The safercig kr808d-1 model is 280 mah meaning you'd get just short of 3 hours out of one battery. Hope that helps!

......I agree with leftfeild on this completely. This would be a great way to start.

Also, after you get 5 posts in here in the new members forum (and wait for about an hour) you can then post in the UK forum.
This might give you some additional help with locating products in the UK if you need it.

Welcome to the forum, and keep us posted on your experiences!

What are peoples thoughts about a Scewdriver MkII, i'm also looking at Boge 510 Cartos. Would these fit ok?

The screwdriver MKII uses a 901 atty, so to use the Boge 510, you will need a 901 to 510 adapter. I have never tried the screwdriver but heard good things about it. You might also want to consider the ego T or C depending on your preference, I have the ego T and really enjoy it.

Right then...

Ego Tank Starter Kit XL ordered they were out of Ego/Riva Starter Kit XL. Like the idea of a 1100mAh battery rather than the Scewdriver MkII that is only 900mAh, ordered.

Boge 510 Cartomisers ordered.

Loads of different juices ordered along with a few drip tips.

many thanks to Leftfeild, Winfab and Chrissie for your help guys...
