Just like the title says, I swear when my coil's not popping I can hear/feel this buzzing through the drip tip. I hope this isn't indicative of a problem.
Interesting, I'm guessing my old Buzz is chipped different? I don't remember ever getting anything like this with the BP, not that it changes my perception of the vape seems just as good.
Also power level. On my Vamo, with a brand new carto in my tank, and the power set low at 4 or 5 watts, I get the "rattlesnake" noise. Goes away at higher power and after the coil breaks in.
I hear the "rattlesnake" every time I vape. I'm doing 6.5 to 7.5 watts on a Sigelei Zmax V3 with 1.8 to 2.0 ohm stainless steel cartos in a glass carto tank. Does the rattlesnake degrade vapor quality? Nope, not bit as far as I can tell. Some people just don't like the sound. Some Provari owners think their rigs make better vapor without the sound.
Its a poorly regulated mod. You get to have a fairly cheap mod and ok to poor performance or spend close to 200$ and have great regulation. Unfortunately there is no in between at this time.

Also interesting. I don't know how sure I am about the quality of the filtering having anything to do with heating a coil. Coil gets power and heats up, whether it's a solid feed or pulsed feed. Especially my coils which are 28 gauge Kanthal wrapped around a needle. They take a while to heat up and a while to cool down, so I don't see how the width of the pulse would change anything.
This one explains the 33.3hz chipset of the Sigelei Zmax V1. Its the same as found in V3 and V5. The mod has very good regulation. Vapor quality was not one of the items he didn't like.
