Ya know, this really sounds crazy and people might not believe me on this but, as of late last night this no longer happens to me, is that crazy, I almost think there was a setting changed somewhere from within because I have been logged on since last night and the system hasnt logged me off as of yet, SO WHATS UP WITH THAT..?????

It's Angus, he keeps messing with our minds !!! :p:D

Since not every member experiences this problem. the problem has to be on the members end. Recheck your settings. Clear your cache and start again.

I only clear my cookies about once a month with FF and never have an issue. IE used to give me this same problem, rather than try and figure it out, I just stopped using it. Problem solved.:)

I use Firefox both at work and at home. My home computer will stay logged in indefinitely. My work computer logs off after (guessing) 10 minutes or so of inactivity. And, I like that because I don't want to wander off and leave it logged in, giving someone else unauthorized access to my account. I don't really like that I can log on at work, while I know for a fact that my home PC is simultaneously logged on.

This may sound crazy, but I had the same exact problem and this is what worked for me.
I have security suite software installed on my computer, as most of us do, and well, although it is NOT recommended, I temporarily disable the firewall. Wait for the little icon to appear in my taskbar telling me my firewall was disabled, then I opened my browser to ECF. I typed in my username and password and checked the little box that say "remember me" or whatever and of course, I was logged in.
I then went and turned my firewall back on, and Voila! No issues what so ever.
I have to repeat this every time I delete my browsing history and cookies, which is only about once a month. But I will take that any day over having to log in every 3 minutes like I was.

HTH...........................:)
