I have been vaping for about 7 months. I love it. I have finally figured out what I like. Joe Castros papa smurf and mistereliquids apple pie. Aero attys from avid vaper. I have a couple ego c twists and a bolt. Why do I feel this undying need to buy a provari, darwin, or a zenesis. I dont need it. I could buy enough supplies for 5 months for the cost. I appreciate any thoughts.

Welcome , but if your anything like me , I want the best that's out there . Just a look at my avatar or signature will tell the story . Sure what you have works , but there are so many toys yet to be played with . As long as you still pay your regular bills , I say just go for it . It's only money , and you can't take it with you when you die .

Because he who dies with the most toys wins! LOL

That woodvill is sweet. Is he still making them? The thing is money isnt a issue. The wife is! hahaha The zenesis makes sense because at least its rebuildable. The provari is a great product I know all about its following. But, then i still have to buy accesories. I guess it just becomes a hobby. 16 years of smoking. wish I could have all that dough back. lol

Is that a woodvill?

The Darwin's a good choice but they haven't been available for quite some time and who knows when you'll be able to buy one. Kicked Shockwave from Super T is nice, been thinking of getting one of those. I'm cheap though and I went almost a whole year without a backup to my Darwin and now have a couple of ego twists just in case. Other vapers are collectors and have s slew of hardware, I'm more practical I guess. However I've saved a bundle vaping, which not everyone can say :)

I guess for most people, the money they save on smoking lets them buy whatever they want, but you can go overboard too and spend it all and then some if you're not prudent. However it's your money so spend as much as you want on stuff :)

I say... "If you are Happy with the Hardware you are using, what is wrong with that?"

And the answers is.... Wait for it.... Absolutely Nothing.

But I will throw this in. If you have not tried a Variable Voltage Device that you should indeed consider doing so.

You don't need to take out a second mortgage and buy one. My first VVPV was a $20 Madvapes Box Mod.

It was kinda crude with No Display and a Funky Wheel to set the Voltage. But it was enough to show me that a VVPV gave a Vastly Better hit than a Fixed Voltage device.

A VVPV gives you the ability to fine tune your Hit to your e-Liquid.

For the same ohm CE2, my DIY Cherry/Watermellon tastes Beest at 3.7 volts. My DIY Tastfinger Varient at 4.0 volts. And my Coffee Almond at 4.3 volts.

I mainly use a Provari for home and a Mini Lavatube for out and about. Sure, the Provari Feels Nicer and can stand up to more Wear and Tear. But the $40 Mini Lavatube puts out the Same Hit and the Same Vapor.

You don't have to spend a Fortune to get a Good Hit.

I ran through a few starter kits before biting the bullet and getting a ProVari. As others have stated, it is really worth every penny. Between the extended battery life and the variable voltage options, its awesome. Haven't looked back since the day it came in the mail.

For me, it comes down to spending money where you spend your time. If you're vaping all day every day, I say take the plunge into a nice VV. You definitely won't regret it!

You want one because curiousity is a powerful thing :D The only downside to ECF is its ability to make us curious about what we might be missing in an APV that we dont already own, even if we dont need it. :p

I'm a bit prejudice, but I'd go with the Zenesis. Its nice not being reliant upon needing to purchase new attys or cartos ever again :) Wicking material and wire is cheap in comparison to attys or cartos.

Personally, I think your head is in the right place. If you're happy with what you have, and it's been effective for you, why spend money on another device when you can buy all kinds of cartos, tanks, and juice instead? It's kind of refreshing in today's "never enough" world to see someone happy with what they have. Do what you think is best for you. :)
