Why do the cheap tanks work better? <rant>

Serious question. I've used cartomizers, the protank 2, and the nautilus. I'm saddened that the roughly $50+ startup cost of the nautilus can be beat by my cheap $6 debranded victory tank. Vision Victory Tank (VT) *Debranded

Maybe bottom coils just weren't meant to be for me. I do like the quality of the material, but I can't justify spending any more money on these things. I get better vapour (not joking), taste, coil life, and reliability from the cheap $6 top coil. No flooding, no dry hits, no burnt taste....And while I'm on the subject...

The crazy $40+ mods like the VAMO...I loved it at first, but it's just such a pain in the rear for little to no benefit. I'm now back to running my upgraded ego passthrough and these $6 tanks.

Sure I have to tip my tank once in a while, but it's better than sucking like a madman trying avoid the next burnt hit.</rant>

I consider you very lucky. The lower priced stuff makes you happy. I would stick with what you like for vaping.

For me it is more important to look good than to feel good, and I like the look of the larger mods, not the square ones though.

As for the taste I would be hard pressed to pick out my nautilus from the iClear 16s with my eyes closed. I do have a Kracken clone that does product much more vapor than I want so I could probably pick that out.
