Why do YOU kick?

Now I started my vape journey with the standard gas station ecigs (njoy) then ventured into an eGo then picked up a ZMAX (then an eVic, then a Provari -____-;; guess I just like spending money) and recently I stepped up and went for a mechanical mod with an rba.

What I don't understand is why people bother kicking their mechanical mod when they could just as easily have boughten a VV device? Is it because you already had a mechanical and you just wanted to start using carto's? Do you prefer how mechanical mods look/use it just because you like button?

Just curious.

I got mine as a doomsday device in case our government rains on the parade. I have a chi chi clone with a kick. Thing is the mech mod will work without the kick and should last for years and years. I also diy and have a supply of nic base in my freezer. other thing, my chi chi is a brass and ss mix that looks great. don't know if that helps but thats why I have a mech mod with a kick

Interesting, thats an understandable reason to have a kicker.

I know some people use a kick with the iHy to regulate the battery, and it isn't the case of saving money as the hybrids cost more than a provari, but it is what they want for their vape. I also like the hyrbids, but I personally find the kick too limiting with them.

I sort of feel the same way. I have a couple kicks here because I didn't know what I was doing when I got my first mechanicals, and "upgrading" to a variable wattage device seemed like a good idea. I've since torn them out and they just sit unused, now that I've realized they're basically counter-productive (not to mention battery-life-shortening and somewhat aggravating to use).

I got it because I did not like the fall off in power as the battery wore out. I set it and I have consistent performance from start to finish. I do not like LED or electronic panels on my device. I like a nice clean look. Thats why I tended to like mechanical PVs. Simplicity. I dont need to dial in my wattage. I like my voltage right a 4.25 and rarely need to change it. I vape the same NET tobaccos and any hotter and they dont taste good. I get much , much better performance from my cartomizers with a kick , also.

I guess if I liked high wattage and hot vapes, the 10 watt would be constrictive. But the device Im getting in will have the option of dropping in a 20watt DNA module if I wanted, but 8.5 watts/ 4.25 volts is perfect for me.
